The hand held battery powered drill is MIGHTY. There is also an advanced hand refinery, but I am not sure how well that works. The switches in the office do nothing until you are told to use them... same with the vents. Talk to everybody... a few times. Then likely more when Bill tells you. They sell stuff and have missions. You also missed a few bananas in front of the banana crate outside HQ. It is hard to see them. Put a chest on your vehicle too.

when loading stuff you need the items in your inventory.. when deleting a build on lift it transfer all items to your inventory.also you should go talk to the 3 guys and get their names. you can also load creations you made in creative.

in normal survival, they make you build a scrap car right away, like literally right outside your ship. here it takes a basic base setup, but you can pretty well skip the scrap car tier.

Your pickaxe allows you to break the big rock nodes, like the drill does in regular survival, lol. And so is your axe with the big trees.

It's one of the worst best perks of this mod (being able to hand mine and hand chop the larger rock nodes and trees albeit super super slow in comparison) that seems to go under appreciated by everyone. I wonder how they'll all react once Ch2 Survival comes out and that ability is lost.

Hey scrapman, you dont actually need to craft the drills for a mining vehicle, one of the workers at the hq will eventually give you a quest for a power drill, and a power saw and i hope this could be good info for you

The cheapest suspension there is in Scrap mechanic, is seat suspension. Use a second seat to connect to bearings, those bearings on the sides of the vehicle (front, back, left, right) connect to L-shaped arms made from blocks, and have the ends of those arms connected to he wheels or to steering then wheels. If you have a friend and set the bearings direction correctly, you can have the friend steer left or right to or stop steering to toggle between normal mode, low-rider mode, and high-rider mode.

Hey scrapman! I see you're into building games quite a lot. Well, what if you mix Space, Survival AND building games? THere's a game called "Surviving Mars" and it's about building a self sufficient colony on our wonderful red neighbour. You land on Mars and bring (customisable) resources with you, and you have to use those resources to build a sustainable mars colony. Remember, you can always bring more! And the best part is that you can play this game for a long time and never get tired of it! I hope to see the videos of this game in the recent future.

Hey, Scrapman in HQ the corrupted keycard is for a room door in Piping Room 1, or (2 more likely) the door is inside the Piping room itself go in there with a few slots open in your inventory, and you will find a good amount of loot and some (Key story items maybe). Talk to the Guys in the HQ to get their Names and further story Quests and item request Quests for rewards you want to focus on as there are items and resources with some Quests also being available for Blueprints for items locked for crafting right now. Like how it went with Bill in this video. The Golden Chests respawn in the Banana crate outside (sometimes after a day and night cycle has passed and you have left the area after your breaking and collecting of the chest loot) the HQ and there are a few individual Bananas outside the crate try to pick them up as they can be useful for trade as Quest requirements or as emergency food. Simply you can get some Banana without having to farm or deal with a raid for them. Give it a try? Bring a large chest to the HQ and see if you can place it in there or even at the door partition area not having to Load in and out of the HQ or end up needing to use HQ storage lockers for quick inventory item slots and forgetting about it later will be quite nice.

I feel like this mod is based off of subnautica, this mod has ForTerra, subnautica has Alterra This mod has the radio receiver (made with a broken radio from your life pod) to progress the story and find locations Subnautica uses the radio in the life pod(found broken) to progress the story by giving you locations to go to Basically, this is basically a subnautica recreation.

Scrap man, if these parts are vanilla(or only obtainable in survival mode _under current circumstances_ ), then you need to use them when building creations. If they are exclusive to survival, then find a mod to get these into creative mode. The aesthetic possibilities!

Trailmakers idea: A no-limits spaceship dogfight, BUT you can only design and test your build in earth atmosphere, So the first battle is completely untested in space. and you can either use different weapons and slowly get more used to your ship, or modify your ships ( still only on earth) in between battles, kind of evolution style but instead of having less limits, you just finally know what needs to change. Btw I am also loving your crashlander SM!

with the alternator, its pretty simple. i just used a controller. make an axel out of pipe pieces and make sure its attached to a construction that is welded to the ground. w=something welded to ground, p=pipe, b=bearing. w b p b p b p b p b p b w thats 6 bearings, 5 of them in a row should be linked to a controller, the 6th on one of the ends link to an alternator. set the controller to max speed, 360, loop. it generates a battery like every 30-45 seconds.

When you save stuff on the lift and delete it you get the stuff back. A neat trick if you want a bit of extra resources is to put a chest on the lift, put what ever you want more of in the chest, save the "creation", take the stuff out, remove the "creation", then respawn the "creation". End result? MORE LOOT. Use this trick at your own discretion though, as it can be considered exploiting if overused.

You get all the parts from deleting things on the lift except the stuff inside containers, like the things in chests/engines/gas tanks. Also the inside of the containers get saved if you save it on the lift, like if you have a chest full of component kits and you save it on the lift and spawn it back in, it will spawn with the component kits but only requires an empty chest to build it, so it dupes which can be frustrating sometimes

A challenge on the Spherical Asteroid: A runner roams the asteroid while hunters fly around to disable the runner as fast as possible. Perhaps the runner can shoot back.

It's interesting how different the playstyles between kan, kosmo and scrapman are. Same storyline, very similar maps, completely different approaches.

Do be aware, at least last time I checked (it was a while ago) inventories are saved to the blueprint, and retained on loading them, but also lost on unbuilding them. What this means in practise: If you have a chest on your creation with stuff in it and you save that blueprint, when you load the blueprint it will still have all that stuff in it. If you take stuff out of the chest and then load it without saving a new version, you will have duped the contents of the chest. If you delete a creation using the lift, you will get all parts used in the creation, but nothing contained in the chests, if you didn't save the creation before deleting it, any items in those chests are gone forever. So, in order to prevent accidental duping or deleting of items, make sure you save your creation every time you decide to delete it.

Micro farming does work, but to have no raid with less than 9, you can only plant tier 1, that's why the microfarming in the last episode didn't work, because you planted oranges (Tier 2). You also can't microfarm if you had a raid the previous night

When deleting stuff on the lift, it goes into your inventory, but your inventory needs the space for the components and materials. You can also load creative saved creations in, assuming there's enough space in your inventory for ALL the parts and materials involved. For example, I tried loading a shack from vanilla survival, which I then imported to creative, but because the shack wall panels take up one slot each, I had to alter the build to not have those before loading it in, then place them back in manually after the fact with a second inventory load, and because of that, I had to manually reinstall the stairs too.

Fun fact about the mod that Kan recently found out:you can use the lift tool to save your creations similar how in creative version does (mostly the same way and the trigger is the same it's just not showing the prompt that you could do that so it will be more helpful if you destroy your vehicle,just make sure you saved it before anything happens to it) and another thing is that if you found more people eventually,just make sure you talk to the twice to get the ability to trade and with it also a special trade which is more of a quest,one of them gives you a tool that cuts down a tree BETTER than any other tools,just requires batteries

cool dupe glitch with the lift is you save a chest with things inside and then you take the things out the chest remove the chest then spawn the chest with the lift then you will see that the things that you put in the chest are now in your inventory and in the chest

If I might suggest, Scrapman; if in the future you need wheels and are pressed for resources, I'd recommend using the red Pipe Caps, in the Metalworking Bench, as wheels. They only require 5x Metal 1 and can roll pretty smoothly, comparable to a normal wheel. They are a bit thinner than a standard wheel, but still work pretty well, I think. I used them for my first vehicle to save on plastic block, and they served me really well until I could craft wheels.

An oil pond always spawns close to bills house in a desert area.

Just to let you know there is a oil pond in a nearby desert to bills house that you can get the vacuum pump and dedicate one whole chest to crude oil collection to make gas and keep yourself fully stocked up. I am also thinking to go electric for some things like close range vehicles, and long range with my gas vehicles. The alternator can be cheated through by just using bearings to power with enough speed that it can charge it quite fast

Trailmakers Idea: can you make a vehicle that just runs around the orbit planet with something to hold it down to the surface, and when it gets really fast, you turn the downwards thrust off/detach and try to escape orbit

HANK IS IN CRASHLANDER, hes in the basment of the hq you should progress the story to get the piping room stairs keycard either the 1st or 2nd floor one doesn't matter just if you do go as far down as possible. Trust me ive seen him hes in the hq basment

Hey Scrapman, 9 out of 10 Crashlander content creators have not done this and have regretted it. Find out what by reading this comment. No seriously. Go to the woodworking bench and craft yourself a cooking bench. kAN and kosmo have not crafted that bench and they are a lot deeper into this than you. The cooking bench will help you quite a bit with your hunger and thirst, more so than you are waving it off to be. Also, even though it's too late, the best bang for your buck as far as wheel production would be the medium wheels. I believe you craft 4 at a time.

Hi scrapman my name is Jamie if you take 6 bearings 5 of which are powered buy a controller and 17 blocks of metal make 2 small 6 block columns take the first bearing and stick it on the front of the top block then stick a block on the bearing then stick another bearing on and keep doing it until you run out of bearings when done attach the 2nd 6 block column on then get a alternator and connect it to the unpowered bearing then set the controller to slot 2 to 360 and then look at the alternator and you will see a display showing you how much power is being made and how many batteries have been made

I want you to try and do a challenge with you friends where you make a boat except that you will have no weapons, you will need to ram into your opponents, and to make it a little harder, you can fight over the reef which has stone pillars that sometimes stick out of the water.

It seems like power tools are more vonvenient in use than drills and saw on vechicle, they are fast, you can get them from the guys from the HQ

Same with you as with kan: try the corupted keycard on the door which needs an "unknown keycard" in the piping room

The three guys back at HQ also have side quests that will help you along the storyline also there is an oil pond at a desert biome close to Bill there are two so check both one on each side of Bill's place look forward to the next episode awesome content as always

Drills are bad because of frame based physics, just make them rotate very slowly and build a very simple vehicle.
