Jolene - Do you guys realize that the grill on that car is probably worth $4,000.00 or more US. The windshield frame that was destroyed is probably $1,500.00 US. The hood is probably $1,500.00 US, Those top fastening pins on top of the windshield that were ground on and ruined, are probably worth a whole lot to someone who is restoring a car. Make some pins, don't wreck the originals, that someone who doesn''t have any can use. It seems like projects are seat of the pants, instead of maybe planning out ahead of time what we are going to do for the hour filming. If something isn't going as planned, spend some time thinking it over and maybe as watchers for suggestions - some of us have done this work and can make helpful suggestions. Oh well, just my thoughts - hopefully you read these comments and get some good from them.

I am sure that if the car was not original or not in good shape and it had rust holes in the body I think lots of the people in here would probably not say nothing about Chad cutting the car up. Most of the cars that's turned the car into roadster or hot rods with the fenders and hood tops removed them cars the fenders were in bad shape or there was not a lot left of the car and they made something out of them cars and made them worth 20,000 to 100, 000 dollar car's all the car's you was talking about Jolene them are way out of Chad's league Chad is making the car have much less value it was worth much more money before Chad mest with it if Chad would have just cleaned the car inside and outside and if he changed the gas tank with a new stock one and if he got the engine running and it ran nice with no smoke and no noise he would have increased the value a good amount. He never even got the engine to even start up way cut up the car if you don't even having a running engine. All Chad does now is cut the roof and lower the bad end on the car you can only do that so many times and it gets OLD AND BORING DOING SOME THING OVER AN OVER ZZZZZZ THEN THE CARS DON'T GET FINISHED. YOUR GOING TO LOSE LOT'S OF YOUR SUBSCRIBERS IF YOU NOT MAKING GOOD CONTENT THAT PEOPLE WANT TO WATCH ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS SO IT'S ALL UP TO YOU TWO.

I’ve been watching Bad Chad for a few years now and it seems that his skill level is going backwards. He’s always in a rush, he wants to do his builds on the cheap and most never get finished and he doesn’t invest in his workshop or his tools. But what really bugs me is his total disregard for health and safety, not only for himself but Fina and Jolene also, basic stuff like masks and safety glasses are very rarely used. In the long run it will catch up with him, a chunk of swarf could blind him in one eye or the dust or welding fumes could lead to copd in the long run..he’s not much of a roll model for kids watching the show. The pair of them do need to take comments seriously because at the end of the day we are the ones paying there wages

On the outset of this show we used to get the full process, ie, buy the vehicle, chop it, style it and put it together. Having done the chop, the body fill ,sanding and paint job took the vehicle to a completion . The comments then were mainly like and dislike of style or colour but with all said ,you had a completed displayable vehicle. During this period of creativity you made the decision that , " due to the drop in viewer strength" that people did not want to see the full process and, that you were discontinuing the finished product. Since then I think we have seen one vehicle completed, chocolate brown with myopia. But the comments were generally praisworthy. The "hate" that you describe in comments seem to have onset at the point where you decided that the viewers did not want to see completion and the executive decision was made without even considering the 75% of viewews that Did want to see the whole process. (It was still a good proportion of your viewer strength at the time [ 250k then]. You have encouraged, with marketing strategies, the troll element to fire the comments section. Sensationalised headlines and negative projection are also a big pull to onboard viewers. It is an age old technique, tried and tested. But, it does not hold a true capacity and,the reflection is the onboard of viewers that only view so that they can shout at you, plus those who are ired by the lack of completion and want to see a completed project at the outset. Just a statement of facts. 👍

Use the comments you want and throw out the rest, right. Many commenters are car guys, fabricators and the like. When making content you open yourself up to criticism. I personally would have left the 34 alone and I am a Street Rod guy. Here's where I am going to jab you and Chad. Most car enthusiasts find a project, restore the project from ground up, Street Rod it or just get it running and drive it. Sadly, Chad is just a metal fabricator, he's not a mechanic, not an upholsterer, glass man or electrical guru. Many of us watching probably have more and nicer equipment than BC. We don't want to broadcast our projects across the web for money. It's monotonous and degrading to say the least. Nobody's perfect and everyone makes mistakes. But please don't blame your viewers for the snide comments. If it bothers, you both and don't take heed. Close the Comment Section.

I get what you saying Jolene. To take a pristine car and destroy it is no brainer. If you take a car that needs saving and you customize it because parts are not available, it's fine. Will you let Chad chop the roof of the Porsche or your Lambo?

Where is Jolene hiding her Lamborghini, and what model is it ? What is the pristine car to which you refer ? The program I watch shows Chad customising a '34 Ford Cabrio, with a stuck, non-original engine, fibreglass patched floor, unusable fuel tank, paint blown over a body covered with surface rust, and possibly a bunch of other flaws we don't know about yet ! Or does your translater not interpret ' pristine ' correctly for you ? !!

@alpeach9480 Pristine condition is another term to refer to a car that is stock standard, a classic that should be admired for it's originality. Tampering with it will be a major loss as there are not many around. Thats the 34 Ford currently being dismantled and destroyed

When I was 13 that 34 was only 21 years old and yet guys were chopping and channeling those cars many of which were in far better original condition than your 34! Check out fellow Canadian Eric over at Halfass Customs who recently built a Carson top for a 30s era style pickup that he built. He used hardware cloth mesh to cover the frame. Mega Cheers to you both for being kind to some of your ill-informed viewers most of whom I assume have never built anything unique or original!

I can appreciate and disagree at the same time. When posting on social media you have to accept that you will get the good, the bad, and the ugly. Just remember that even the bad and ugly are watching are making you money to have the things and lifestyle you have. If you didnt get their comments they wouldnt be watching and your cash flow would be very different. Every watch and comment is a cha ching in the bank account. Sometimes negativity comes from a place of unhappiness or jealousy or because they dont have to look you in the face and do it anonymously. Looking at from a point of view that all comments give you ideas, perspective of others opinions and a lifestyle people would like to have will go a long way. The both of you could learn to not presume what is going thru someones head when they comment or why they said what they said. Everyone has their demons and knocking someone on a platform or making them feel less than with your words is showing that fame and wealth can give tunnel vision towards others. Always remember where you came from, especially when giving speeches during your broadcasts.

@@Varo3121 hes built show cars with nothing more than angle grinders and coat hangers. This is hot-rodding. What you're used to on TV is million dollar production entertainment. It chaps my ass seeing all you guys say he's a poor craftsman, most of whom have never built anything.

As I read these comments I'm not seeing many positive, endorsing all Chad's bullshit. A smart person would pay some attention to the shifting tides

Sometimes, there's the right tool for job. And not everything has to be forced, a metal file would be safer and produce better results on those windshield pins. When that grinder makes contact and kicks it's unforgiving. In my opinion you have an experienced word worker helping you. I'm 3 generation wood worker an enjoy being creative, along with metal working experience. You've got your hands full just figuring out how to contour and connect you materials. I think it's going to be interesting to see how you continue to approach this project. As always, ML&R God Speed

I seen a guy trim a entry door with a grinder and he did just as good as I could have done with a chop box

All he had to do in the first place was to tap the wood down onto the spikes and then using the appropriate size drill bit simply drill the holes to ensure a tight snug fit

No, they totally get it. Because the 'skirts' brought on overwhelmingly negative comments, their ego's got damaged. So they decided to 'chop' that very fine example of a 90 year old car in a childish and passive aggressive act as revenge for their damaged ego's. They knew that car enthusiasts and/or historians traditionally attempt to preserve such 'survivors'.
