Nah, use the new galaxy s23, film directors have used it to make high quality productions and they have said it's amazing. Plus the ultra has a 200mp camera, much better than iPhones 48mp
@quickfilmmakingtips2870 Жыл бұрын
@@ethancotton1549a couple things… firstly, the s23 came out very recently and has not been used on any important production so I don’t know why you said that. Secondly, having more megapixels is much worse for video as you gather less light and have less dynamic range. I really couldn’t care less about the whole Apple vs Android thing, but at least get your facts right.

Hey Gene! Just a little note for improving your video wall. You said it would be nice if you had a video processor that allowed correcting for the bezels. On essentially any Windows computer you can set up a mode where this can be done: Intel Collage Display mode, NVIDIA Surround, or AMD Eyefinity depending on the GPU in the system. All three of these display spanning modes have configurable bezel correction built in. New studio looks great!

Already in the intro it looked incredibly convincing especially with the RGB lighting adjustments. Another I wanna add, the auto focus in this episode was absolutely unbelievable. The tracking was great, sure convinced me that someone was operating.

MAN, I LOVE THIS VIDEO! Every second of it was just MAGNIFICO!... what I love to see, and done so well. I don't want to list what I liked because it was everything from start to finish... the setup, you and your lady's vision, all the technical devices shown, as well as the decorative touches, JUST EVERYTHING made it one I can watch over and over. I loved your thought process, and I would have to give my fave moment to the shelf with that massively gorgeous camera on it, that you mentioned you will be adding some magnets to, so that you can hang some other things. As a person working in the smallest space in America, with mobility issues, that gave me mega inspiration. Everything looked so esthetically pleasing, and your girl was even edited in so nicely to break up the monotony of you & the room. As I type this, I guess the best compliment I could give would be to say it felt like I was just watching a real moment in your life and NOT a video shot and edited. It is my favorite video in general for 2023 so far, or maybe ever because of all that it encompasses & the way you did it!

Shoot a video, then make a change then shoot the next video, etc. Let it be an ever morphing set. It can turn into a little game. "What's new in today's set?" you've inspired me. Thank you. I have a little studio space that we've always used seamless as a backdrop and we have a black Duvatene curtain on rail and trollies that works well, but a few big monitors so we can have an ever changing backdrop, would be good. Maybe if you buy the projectors used in movie theatres, I'm not sure the fidelity of a projected image would be equivalent or as intended. This method is essentially the fundamentals of ILM's StageCraft system, which is starting to replace green screens in productions these days
@TechnoBabble Жыл бұрын
Unlikely to look convincing. Projectors in the same price range are nowhere near as bright and colour accurate, on top of that you wouldn't be able to have anything in front of the image like curtains.
@naruto5046 Жыл бұрын
Projectors are prone to lights, any sort of light will kill the shadows and vibrancy of the projection, so TVs are probably the best you can get, i would recommend some cheap chinese brand TVs if all they are for is background.

I have an answer to your question 😅 I recreated this setup with a short throw laser projector. You can check it out on my channel. I hope it helps you if you decide to go the projector route. Light spill is a problem but it’s not that big of a deal if you have enough space.

man, I am also in love with this. Kudos to making it work with the kind of budget that you did. I mean, why is everything so expensive is definitely right. But still, pretty inexpensive for what you got out of it! Beautiful new space :) Also, having kids is not only sacrificing space. That is the most unproblematic thing about it. BTW, I am commenting for the first time, but I have been watching for about 5 years now. Also started flying FPV exactly when you did, and it is one of the best things I ever did in my life ... right up there with my kid ... which is funny, because that kid is kinda a big hurdle to me flying more.
