Thank you for giving FuelRodz a shot! Definitely appreciated your feedback along the way. It was a very long process and seeing people enjoy it is still extremely exciting for me. Cheers! 😀

These look really interesting, trying to get Tailwind into a flask is always a mess. Any plans on having a UK stockist ?

Thanks for the chance to try them out!!! My next order will be delivered today👏

I really like the idea of the "rods" instead of powder. I am wondering, though, what the carbs come from (like maltodextrin maybe?). I checked out the website, and didn't see that info.

@@86bench Yep! That's exactly where the inspo came from. Basically 5 years ago, I thought, "Man, powder works great for nutrition, but the actual usability of it suuuuuucks. What if they were just solid sticks?" And here we are. Re: International: That's our top priority. Canada first, then EU. We actually just launched last week, so loooooots still on the Now/Soon/Later To do! It's been a labor of love so I greatly appreciate the positive thoughts. :)

@@ropersix You got it! It's sucrose and maltodextrin, combined at a ratio of 1:0.8 glucose to fructose.

Man! For some reason I stopped paying attention to your videos with chaos of life. Forgot how much I enjoyed them! Listened to you on Adventure Jogger podcast and had to come back and get reconnected to your great content!

Thanks for filming me at 13:01! How did you like FuelRodz? Hope the calzone was awesome...you deserved it after this run. (A calzone making video wouldn't be out of order, btw)

My Tomirs did take a loooong time to break in. 50k for the upper to feel good. But the longer i wear them the BETTER I can run in them. Currently at 600k and their better than ever.

All the shoes out there, I can't imagine running 50k in one that doesn't feel amazing from the jump.
@atleastIdietrying Жыл бұрын
@@debrascott8775 yeah I know… but their promise of durability and therefore sustainability made my give them a real chance. If the really hold up for 1200k then the first 50k aren’t really more than a tiny part of my runs in them. Plus, as a hoka regular I am kind of annoyed that 600km is usually where my shoes are notably worse for wear. If they even hold up that long.

love these videos. Please any advice or trick to put into the salomon vest the water bags, it's a fight for me to get them inside.
@ropersix Жыл бұрын
First trick to try is, blow air into them (after filling them with water) to make them more rigid.
@alexa9771 Жыл бұрын
@@ropersix thanks buddy. I will try it.
@RyanClaytonFilms Жыл бұрын
Yeah agree with Timothy. They need to be full and then I just shake them down into the vest until they’re all the way in. Also, while running don’t take them out except to refill. If you need a drink, just pull the vest up a little so you can reach 👍

I have the exact same issue with my Tomir. I cannot get the heel locked in well enough regardless of how tight I tie it down. Shame, amazing shoes otherwise.
