YOU’RE who turned me onto Blasser’s synths with your demos, you even sent me some additional links to browse through! ❤️🎵❤️ I guess you’re my one-stop-shop for all things Blasser. (If you haven’t yet seen it, you would like this documentary on Delia Derbyshire - kzbin.info/www/bejne/pInRnoadlsp6d6s - it made me think of your recent tape experiments, as well as my days slicing up actual 16mm film for a visual project.)

i spent some time a couple years back building modules with my dad. it was so fun. my favourite part is soldering :p sadly he passed before they were ever finished. I've been spending lots of time lately trying to figure out modular so I can put all the synths I inherited to good use. I have a beautiful buchla eurorack that I would love to do justice. if you are ever in Ottawa you should come by and try to figure it out with me haha! I'm so glad that more and more people are playing with modular. it's something I grew up seeing my dad tinker with (that I never understood lol) and it's so weird seeing some of my favourite artists get into them. I'm sure my dad would love seeing how they are becoming more and more mainstream. love your modular videos Andrew! keep rocking! 💜K

1. What does the TSA think of all these devices you are bringing on the plane? 2. Software geek/hardware luddite here. It's just amazing to me that the makers can just figure out how to put all this stuff together to make interesting sounds, both the folks who make the devices and you who can take those devices and figure out where to put all the knobs and patch cords and not electrocute yourself or blast your ears out. But I'd try it in a DAW.
