I have a built 68rfe I pull a gooseneck trailer all the time. 2014 Laramie with 190,000 miles on already. Thank you for your professional clean video. I appreciate it. Check out Revmaxx Trans for your build. They have awesome customer service and a very good trans. God Bless.

I just bought a DPS T4 exhaust manifold and a 467.7 Turbo for my 2nd Gen. I can’t wait to get the rest of the parts needed for my build.

The install isn’t to bad, and you will love the power the 2nd gen swap brings.

All the info you presented is well laid out and explained, however when you start getting up to 6, 7, 800HP and want your truck to be a tow vehicle, there’s no discussion out there regarding cooling the monster. I’m almost ready to start stage 2, but I’m concerned if I shoot for 800, factory cooling wont cut the mustard, especially with towing in the summers.

The first stage for me was Transmission. People build the motor and then bitch their trans has blown

Now that I’ve upgraded the trans with a valve body it’s made a world of difference. I love driving it now.

With doing the second gen swap from the stock VGT is there any programming you need to just strictly with the VGT since your getiing rid of it?
@okc_garage4 жыл бұрын
Tanner Horner yes your tuner will have to re write your tunes to get rid of of the sensors that are hooked up to your stock VGT

Just curious what the deciding factors were for you to pick airdog over fass?
@okc_garage4 жыл бұрын
BrOklahoma they’re pretty much the same product. I decided to use air dog just because of their backing and people who recommend them over Fass. Wasn’t a fan of their video bashing air dog either with false claims.

@@okc_garage I must not have seen that video. I went with a fass titanium signature 165 with a beans sump on my 2012. So far so good. I was surprised by how quiet it actually is
