Building your first scale modeling car, using the basics. Part 2!

This is Part 2 of the build of the Revell 1969 Camaro Z/28, that I highlighted in the Scale Model Basics video.
This video is the last part of this set, that shows that you can build a scale model car using a basic set of tools from Testors.
This is to try to help people that would like to get into the hobby, but may be intimidated or just not sure what it takes to build a scale model car. Don't worry, you can do it!
This is aimed at beginners, but others may benefit from some of the tidbits of information that I share throughout the video.
The focus is on showing you how to use some basic tools and paints, and to demonstrate a few things about how to assemble a scale model car along the way. You won't find any super detailing information, or see a lot of super fine details worked into the build; that's not the point of the videos, but I'm sure you'll enjoy watching the build. I tried to show as much as possible on the actual process and assembly in order to show how things can go together and if there any pitfalls or things that can hang you up along the way.

I love how you kept the tools used to what a beginner would be able to afford. Most all model builders started somewhere. And there’s no need to invest in tools that may hardly get used. Great video 👍

Thank you. Yep, you got to start somewhere and I didn't want to overload someone new right out of the gate. A good selection of tools will help, but you can still build a model with the basics. It's about starting something new and hopefully enjoying it without getting caught up in all the tools and gear. Trust me, I'm a gear hog, but it needs to be something that solves a problem that I may encounter and some tools are good to have and will help your skills advance in what you can do.

I don’t know the last time I’ve seen anyone brush paint a body 😆 Actually came out not bad! I would almost recommend white glue for the glass, water wash up and almost everyone has some 🤷‍♂️ Nice work with the build 👍

Thank you! I appreciate that. Yep, I have some white glue in my stash, but wanted to show that it could be done with the basic kit. But, will definitely add that to the, "for sure items to have" list for one of my future videos on intermediate tools and/or how to enhance a basic kit. Kind of, what to add from here.
