Plot Area: 1,200 sq. yards Built-up Area: 15,000 sq.ft Project Cost: 7,500 per sq.ft Plot cost would be 1200 x 1Lakh = 12 crores Construction cost 15000 feet x 7500 rupees = 11.25 crores. So the total cost is 23.25 crores !!!!!

lol, 1 lakh for 1 sq yard? It is jubilee hills, here a sq yard is always nearly or at times over 3 lakh/sq yard.(~35,000 per sq feet) The plot cost would be- 3*1250=36 Crores.

I live in ajmer here local architects and engineers charges 1200 -1400 rs per sqft. I have done a lot of research visited a lot many houses really poor designs and outdated front elevations for the money they are charging. It would be great if you can show us a very much contemporary front elevation like the one in the video. Price range 30-40 lacs 1500-2000 sqft plot area a duplex or two floor house.

Though I have liked this video, I pity architects not adding rich Indian flavour to the designs. Clients will never ask for it but as sensible designers, it has to be a part of the solution. This house can be anywhere in the world and you wouldn't know if its in India. Use not just function, but Indian aesthetic to make us unique for the world. Otherwise we are just imitating.
