Beautifully designed home. Fabulous! Although as a Keralite, the only thing I could think of while watching the video was the river. In a flooding state like Kerala, I don't know how safe it is to build homes on riverbanks, no matter how beautiful it is.

Having a 100m river facing side plot is a dream….the design form fully utilized this feature to create a seamless architecture….only thing I would have done is used floor to roof sliding doors that can roll up into the wall on the ground floor and open up the house to the spectacular river views blurring the boundary of house and nature

It's VERY modern n angular . Looks nice. If i can critique , it's not going to age well, lack character, and doesn't feel home ( to me ). Kerala has loads to be inspired by as far as architecture goes. I wish some character was infused into the house reflecting kerela ( except water ) . P/s architect delivered to clients brief - however western houses are at odds in our rich indian traditions n culture. For me - architecture needs to keep indian identity while including western elements.

Unfortunately it’s not good for Kerala climate condition. It’s just a concrete forest. Can’t enjoy that balcony while raining. People are mesmerized by the design, but the home owners aren't aware of the future maintenance of the designs nor about its usefulness.
