I don't think other people understand their humour. Humour which only the 3 of them shared. However I do feel they don't like to be rattled, like they have anger bursting to come out.

Good questions, instead of the same-o's they ask back in the 80s. Curious about their adopted sisters and would love to hear what Eddy's sister had to say about his passing. R. I. P. EDDY 🙏

I was born in October of 1966 and adopted from.tbe Louise Wise Agency in February of 1967. I always felt, in my life, that I was "missing something", despite having a very loving and caring Mother and Father. When I contacted Louise Wise for information pertaining to my adoption, I was only sent a 2 page letter, what they described as an "informative but non identifying history". I still feel like Im missing a lot of information, and when this story came out, my feelings only grew in intensity and the desire for the truth, which Ill apparently never get. If anyone can help me, PLEASE REACH OUT. THANK YOU !

Tim Wardle did an amazing job of telling the story and it's very interesting - having seen the film - to hear Bobby S. talk about it as well as Tom W. Also there is a set of twins - two women - who contacted Wardle and he filmed their reunion also with a very unique and special touch. In that brief little film the combination of being there and lightly being a part but letting things be completely natural is apparent. He's brilliant!

The three brothers were born to a single mother in 1961. (They were actually quadruplets; the fourth brother died at birth.) At the direction of a Jewish adoption agency and psychiatrists Viola W. Bernard and Peter B. Neubauer, the three infants were intentionally placed with families of different economic levels - one blue-collar, one middle-class, and one upper-class - who had each adopted a baby girl from the same agency two years earlier. The brothers were raised by their respective adoptive families as David Kellman, Eddy Galland, and Bobby Shafran.They discovered one another by chance in 1980 and became very close, but all three struggled with depression throughout their lives, which ultimately led to Galland's suicide in 1995

Knowing the older sisters all came from the same adoption agency at the same time makes me wonder if they are all involved in something similar--even if not related to each other, maybe to other babies.

What happened to the completely unethical doctor who deliberately separated the triplets? Eddie's death shows what happens when people are treated as less than human as children. I think that what happened to the triplets is unconscionable. What I think that doctor's fate should be or have been is in printable.

Absolutely nothing happened to him! He died with his reputation relatively intact in his 90s and sealed all the information at Yale University until 2066. There is no way of knowing the full extent of the damage he has done.

Ponder this: Operation Paperclip was a covert program that knowingly brought high-ranking Nazi officers to the US, gave them citizenship & prestigious jobs in the US govt. Now, what was another known feature of Nazi SS officer activity in German labor camps? Twin studies. And who were their subjects? So...is it such a leap to think that this particular "experiment" was a continuation of the twin studies conducted in Nazi Germany? This is probably why the US govt wants to seal the details until 2066.
@everyonelovesdee3 жыл бұрын
@@DevonahBlackwellT.I. Wouldn't surprise me as when I watching it, my first thought was that it stank to high heaven of those types of experiments, but the fact that Dr Nerbaur was Jewish threw me. But since the documentary did touch on the fact that it was private donors and Washington who funded it and no more info was available just raises suspicsion full stop. Hopefully, this movie will put pressure on allowing the participants access to their information, and I hope I live to 2066 to see the results made public.

I think it wasn't fair in the documentary to point out Eddy's upbringing as being the trigger for Eddy to take his own life. Eddy was super popular and well-liked. Perhaps it was a heavy burden, the mere thought of being separated from his siblings and knowing that their mother was unable to keep them together.
@Emy533 жыл бұрын
Is there any mention on the mother or their biological parents, and was their mother ever present after the men discovered that there were 3 of them?

In the film, they afirmed that they did met their mother (she got pregnant during her prom night and gave them up for adoption) she was also alcoholic and apparently had some mental issues, however, she never took part of their lives as they were grown adults who had families of their own. in conclution, they were fine without her.

Did these two brothers disassociate themselves from Eddie - cut him off ? Is that why his killed himself these two brothers disowned him ?? I read that they moved away and that Eddie kept following them, moving closer to them and he was living across the road from one of them when he committed suicide - he was constantly trying to be close to his brothers. I heard that he did not relate to his parents and found family with David and Bobby .... but was perhaps pushed aside ??? is there any truth in that anyone ??? The whole thing was a horror show.... a Jewish scientist psychiatrist doing this just appalling experiment - how dare they - all of those involved. When his father went back to retrieve his umbrella to the doctors/agency and they were celebrating their hiding the truth ... raising a glass of celebration of deceit. Jail them all.
