Ana Maria I have an open mind. I'll judge her when I see the film. I was just saying I'm not sure how to feel knowing that she and her sisters gained these opportunities as a result of her family contacts in the film industry and newspaper journalism working together to sell them to the public. That would matter less if she has legitimate talent but I will have to wait for the film to see if that's the case.

I wasn't judjinge her.I was only expressing the way these kind of things make me feel. I don't like it when people have it SO MUCH easier just because they know people or are important. It's not only in showbiz, it's happening also in the fashion industry and many other sectors. It's becoming more and more difficult for "normal" people to make it . It's unfair.We're going back to the Xv-XIX centuries when people didn't have loads of opportunities and there really wasn't a real mobility in society. I haven't seen Poppy act. I have UNFORTUNATELY seen her sister. My eyes were bleeding. She just CAN'T ACT. Any other "normal" person would have never had her opportunities. Of course the delevignes aren't the only one that pop into my mind when I think of untalented people having success.

The guy who wrote the comic actually helped write the first movie. So in that sense it was still the original property, but it was not the first Kingsman thing to come out.

There were some pretty significant changes from the comic book to the movie. For instance, Colin Firth's character was Eggy's uncle in the comic book, and the nature of their relationship related to that felt different. Also, the Gazelle was a very large man - not a woman - in the comic book (I think a war vet? It's been a while since I read the comic book). The bad guy, played by Samuel L. Jackson, was actually a young man who had no lisp. I'm betting that was added strictly for comical reasons. Other than those, there is quite a bit in common with the comic book, from what I recall. I enjoyed both the comic book and the movie, and am looking forward to the sequel. I would have liked one of the actor's in this interview to have at least mentioned that it was a comic book first, because so many people don't know about it, and it's important to acknowledge source material.
