I love to sing alone too - I was in choir for 10 years and I hated whenever we had solo opportunities for concerts- I knew that I didn’t want to to do them but I felt like I was a fool if I didn’t take them - I auditioned for a couple of them and was a nervous mess and of course I would never actually get the solo cause I knew if I sounded good that I might be picked and would then have a massive panic attack - the only time I ever did something close to a solo was when there were small short speaking parts in a song we did and was nervous for even that - however during choir of my senior year I did a small solo in a song we did for Broadway night and that was literally 2 seconds but still there have never been 2 seconds that I was more scared for then that - since then I have learned that it’s ok to not like doing solos - thanks for making me feel better Lana !
