Helen is an awesome adventure. I visited with my sister and niece last Christmas. It was beautiful. We hiked Anna Ruby falls. Not a bad hike for two 70 year olds and a younger one. The best thing is you can do everything at your own pace. It is worth the time for a visit. We loved every moment of our trip.

So fun to watch! Thanks for visiting our Alpine Village! Please come back again! I'll be sharing this on my Facebook so more folks can see how wonderful Helen is! As a Helen business owner and Helen resident I'm truely pleased to see how much fun you had on your visit. Please come back again in the summer and bring your wife by my shop and you can get some henna!

I’m from Atlanta and grew up going to Helen for camping and enjoying the town. I’ve carried on the tradition by taking my own family there numerous times. It’s a lovely and unique place.

It's a fun place for a day trip. Prices are expensive though. I recommend the waterfalls around there.

Love Helen & surrounding area! Two additional places I love that are north of town: Betty’s Country Store and Fred’s Famous Peanuts. Check them out!

I have been there a couple of times it's a fun little place. The original inventors museum of the Cabbage Patch is just outside of town. Super nice and it's free. They still make the dolls there.

Been there and I did find the mini golf place. It didn’t hide from me! Wasn’t that impressed with Helen GA though. It’s neat to see once, but have no desire to go back.

I live about an hour away this is definitely a been there done that not going back. If all you wanna do is drink that’s fine. Tubing down the river overcrowded if you like large crowds then that’s your area. The shops look dirty. All you do is walk around plus the food isn’t that great next time anybody’s there walk around and look at the buildings they’re dirty dingy. You can see grime stuck to the walls but if you’re only there to drink none of that matters. But that’s just my opinion not that it matters.

Knowing that it's all artificial makes it cheesey. Georgia has almost no German influence/immigration for the entirety of its existence. Still, I guess it's fun, though corny.
@stefanr570Ай бұрын
It's well done and authentic looking. Obviously it's a bit touristy but what place isn't. And it's overcrowded for October fest. There are lots of Germans in Atlanta. That's why there is a Goethe Institute in downtown and a large business community. Germans just make a strong effort to learn English and blend into society.
