Vr1 20w50 is what we run in our ls square body s10. That compression is pretty good for a junk yard engine

Lots of variables affect compression. Don't worry about the number as much, focus on the consistency. I'd say it's great - and ready for some boost! :D

Compression seems normal to me. The numbers are close to irrelevant unless they are low. Just looking for close together.

Yep, that is what I was thinking. As long as there is no significant variation between cylinders...should be good to go.

125 to 150 is a good range for a worn in motor. Throw some Lucas in it and let'er rip. If you are worried about the condensation Before the next oil change. Get a can of Gunk 5 min Motor Flush, and run through it. I have had to do that to the boss's sons Camaro (like your). He is still running the LT with opti-spark in it. He took Jr Championship last year in NHRA.
