Built 97 12 valve Cummins 5 speed towing @ 24,000lbs

Mega Cummins is 8500lbs, trailer 8000lbs and the truck is 7700lbs rough numbers but very close to weight. He351 over s475 big fuel, valair dual disc putting the power to the trans and the nv4500 i built. Which is the first transmission ever i put together. Shes been taking a beating. Welded d80 35" mts 3.55 gears.

I've got 3. 290'000km 454'000km & 289'000mi They all still put in work. Edit: the higher milage ones do anyways.... The low one is in a parts truck, but it will still preform lol

5th gear. Ive changed fee things on tune and dropped to a 1.15 ar housing on the s475. World of difference. Just ran over 7000miles loaded over 23k with the cruise set on 75 pretty much.

Holy Hell...you are NOT at 24,000lbs. Your trailer is +/-8,000lbs Rock crawler is 4,500lbs.. Your truck is 7,500lbs. You are rolling down the road at 20,000lbs. You're not even over weight for the truck in stock trim.

Nice rig, I’m putting a compound on my 24 valve and then moving onto my 12 valve project next, couple questions what brand compound are you running, and I like those wheels what make are those? The 5 speed 12 valve 1 ton is a sick unit mine is a auto kicking around doing a 5 speed swap

Seems very hot for a compound setup I run a k27 gross 32,000 taking in scrap metal it was hard to break 1100 with dv and 5x12 maybe bump your timing a bit that should help

@@HunterRitchie the big charger had to big of turbine. Dropped to 1.15ar on the s475 made a big difference. Also I'm running a good bit of fuel. 5x.014 nozzles with edge filters removed .025dvs and aggressive AFC tune.
