Built motor 5.4 boss BA XR8 Enforcer dyno run

Quick vid of the xr8 on the dyno at maxx performance.
Mods list:
Built bottom end with manley 11.5:1 pistons.
Boss 290 heads (not ported)
Comp 270xe cams 230/236
Mmr chain and guide kit
Mellings billet oil pump
DiFillipo 1-7/8 headers
DiFillipo twin 3inch exhaust system
Standard intake plenum/throttle body

I'll do another video soon. The car now has a yella Terra intake plenum with twin throttle body. Makes around 340kw now

The 5.4 has powered some incredible cars from the USA over the last 15 years. Every engine has its weak point, which is what makes a great engine builder.

Yep, if an LS (6ltr NA) makes 500hp it's awesome if a mod 5.4 does it it's a let down.

LS motors are way overdone these days, its boring. so if i see a good ol 5.4 make some power its awesome

Crap load more torque too. Cool of you to post the specs too. It would seem the guys at Maxx have it making it's peak without head porting.

Yeah mate. Its pretty much at its limit at the moment. It still runs a single factory throttle and intake plenum which is slowing the airflow down at high rpm. I plan on fitting a twin throttle plenum soon. But I'm on the hunt for a forward facing one not the usual side entry.

It was a bluepower box but in this video it had no air cleaner. A few runs previous we realised the filter was very dirty and needed a wash. I did wash the filter but didn't refit it until it was dry after the dyno session.

Colour is called Envi. I thought that Envi (and the Enforcer for that matter) were BA but the car looks BF - think it's just got a BF front bar and tail lights.
