Really good review. My daily is a stock 2017. Will using this type of tuner risk damaging anything? The only issue that i’ve had was the EGR cooler replacement at about 68k miles. What is the benefit of a faster regeneration or regeneration cycle?

I had this tune and Nissan flashed there updated tune on my truck…. So now it’s in limp mode lol how much did you pay for the tune? Not with this tune. With the EZ tune it shifts very smoothly.

Nope not single issue runs like a champ. Shifts very smooth. Alot of power.. transmission is pretty much same as ram 3500 aisin transmission so one of the best on the market. And engine if you maintain it is great too.

I've taken on writing my own tune... what an undertaking... What I will say is that it takes about 200-400km for the transmission to learn the tune and this occurs every time you flash the ecu. So you didn't really give a fair comparison. My Titan starts to get very smooth and the transmission behaves much better after that.

Not sure what you are talking about here but i had the GDP tune for over 6months over 5-7k miles. The Eztuning i had since the video and about 2k miles now. It's been pretty much the same shifting and power is great no lag between shifts at all. Shifts wayy better then even from factory.

@@BuiltForSpeed Every time you install a tune on the ecu the transmission starts its relearning process. It takes a while for the transmission to settle in on the tune and what it likes. So popping the tune on and then immediately taking the truck for a drive is going to give a distorted opinion of the transmissions response to the tune. It's also one of the reasons for delays/slipping on shifts. I still haven't figured out how to prevent mine from coding yet, so I have to reinstall the tune every 600km or so. Starts to stand out when the transmission goes from silky smooth to a tyrant every time. It all started because the tune I was running was causing the turbos to hunt really badly when cold. Then I left the ez lynk hooked up and started datalogging, saw it was hunting all the time. It also was holding boost at idle and the drive pressure ranged from 2-4:1. I haven't managed to get drive pressure below 2:1 yet however I can lock the cruise control at 100kph and cruise with 0 indicated boost. Fuel economy is starting to stand out now.

@@PeterFaletto very impossible. I won't argue on that subject. Whatever is showing you that i would shut if off. I would manually calculate how much gallons u fill up and how many miles between fill ups you do each time. Don't ever trust any monitors. Specially with those kind of numbers lol
