Rebuilding A Wrecked 2017 Suzuki GSX-R 1000

I sold this Bike in perfect Condition to a friend just for him to crash it 2 months later. In the turn of events this bike came back into my ownership. After a month of it sitting in my warehouse I do a full rebuild. This Gsxr 1000 was in really bad shape the whole front end and sub frame was bent.

You're taking a big chance not magnafluxing or x-raying the frame. You could have stress cracks or microfractures that'll only become obvious when it's too late. Just look what it did to that front wheel. All that energy had to go somewhere.

My thoughts exactly, also saying no damage to the front end yet both bottom fork seals/dust cover's are blown.🤷. Hitting with wood and hammer ffs. Half these repairs that are undertaken by these click for views no-ones would never be able to get near a road in New Zealand.

Yea from the 3 vids this guy did so far like none he checked for engine damage, x rayed to make sure it’s properly aligned or inspect professionally. Like something will go wrong if this guy keeps repairing totaled bikes like this

FYI if you bend in the original stock exhaust to fit what you were saying for the lowering mounts you could damage the small honeycomb structure inside the catalytic converter it’s super fragile and can crumble and clog, it’ll cause exhaust flow issues and even cause check engine light over time.
