I remember when I was like 16 years old (circa 2004ish) I tried to convince my mom to get a pristine NSX that the dealer had for $32000 she got an 01 Malibu instead. Showed my mom how much it's worth now and she almost fainted😂😂

I had a chance to get a 1991 back in 2014/15 when I was a technician @ Lexus of Greenville SC....the original owner traded it in on a brand new Lexus LFA....45k miles all service records all original paperwork including window sticker...and they were gonna let me get it for 5% over trade in value via employee pricing...it makes me sick to think about it...

@@ChrisF-fx5du you do know that engine oil degrades and breaks down after 6 months? Also if that stretched cambelt had broken it would have been a catastrophic failure. There's absolutely no need to run an engine in a performance car that has stood a long time until an oil change at least has been done, and intakes checked for rodents/nests ect. This guy got lucky, but In many cases engine damage such as big end bearings is the result.

Well for someone who hasn't ever watched your channel. You got a sub from me for this NSX build. This model and the new NSX didn't get the credit it deserved when each came out. As they both age their place in the car world is getting up there. Thank you for posting the full build. But not knowing if the alignment worked after it's crash damage and not addressing that kind of made it seem as if you gave up on the car or you would have painted it. Because in no way shape or form is that worth 90k without paint and a steering rack and other stuff that wasn't shown on this video. The bumper and hood and fenders never lined up in your final shots. The rear window scoop was so Temu. Half the tail light was out on one video never saw it fixed. No shots of the final car driving or running. It all just ended like a let's call it good situation.

Worst to-date was a 68 camaro that had 2-3" of cat poo in the floors, mummified carcasses of all sizes stuffed in every crevice, and bags of trash sitting on it. That one I honestly debated on letting go but it was too cheap and an actual SS car.... couldn't pass on it.

I’ve never liked Honda but I always dreamed of owning an NSX since they came out. I’ve never heard of you & this video popped up. The car turned out nice compared to how it started. It’s just not the direction I would’ve gone at all. I would’ve stayed with the original color, redone the seats & kept the wheels that came with it. And those side mirrors are garbage. The OEM ones are MUCH better. That exhaust though is amazing. Still though it’s a nice restoration & glad it’s no longer sitting dormant.

The car looks perfect. The only thing that needs touching up is the metal crash bar in the front. I would’ve painted that before putting the front bumper on.

You should do a semi-gloss matte red wrap or paint on the NSX!!
