Now you get to take it out again to add more accessories.

That’s the only drawback, but it does not have to come all the way out. On the initial install you have to take the seat belt bracket off. That’s the biggest pain. Once in you just need to take enough bolts out to flip it up and install the new accessories. Or depending on the hardware you use you can pop it in while it’s there. You can use lag screw normally used on drywall with metal studs too to avoid removing it

Can you share how much space between this BuiltRight panel and the underside of the seat when lowered? Need to know how much headroom for various items I'd like to put down there! Thanks,

I was able to get the bracket installed on my 2020 F150 without removing the center seat belt bracket.

I have that same radio…what cable did you use to extend the face plate? A standard phone cord?

No, the kit comes with a radio specific cable pinned out for the head unit. Came in a small separate box along with the face plate cradle.

Can you slide a vacuum crevice tool under the face of that? Or is the dirt, crumbs and debris stuck on the carpet under there until this plate is removed? Thanks!

It’s a tight fit. I’m sure a decent vacuum could get stuff out, but yes, eventually you need to remove some bolts to make access easier
