Looking to get this … I have a 2020 f150. Had a line x liner installed when I purchased the truck along with the hard fold tonneau cover. Ia this compatible with what I have already done?

My truck bed was the same way. I took a box cutter and traced the outline of the plug, then took an angle grinder to it with a cutting blade attachment and cut through the rhino lining right above the plug until I saw metal. Then just peeled the rhino line off and popped the plug out. Tracing it with the box cutter first helps ensure you don’t peel more rhino lining off from the surrounding area.

Will this fit the 2023 Sierra with the new refreshed design? I have no idea if they changed the bed on the truck

I have the 22 1500 at4 refreshed and just installed with no issues. They did change the three brackets (mounting plates) and instead of a bolt it is a hex or allen key. It is easier as you can adjust the positions without having to take the panels off

Awesome product! I’ve been looking for something like this for my 2019 Silverado. Can it be used with the folding tonneau covers? Looks like there is sufficient clearance but I just wanted to be sure before ordering both.

Yessir! We've been designing these panels long enough now to know that leaving generous clearance for tonneau covers and clamps is important. We haven't run into a cover that interferes yet!

Yep! You would just need to cut/score the bedrug where the panel attaches, which is very easy with a sharp knife.

Hey Jon, good observation! We added those washers to the kit after filming the video. They can be used with the small button head bolts as needed.

Seems like an overly complicated & tedious attachment design. Why not just have utilized the extension brackets to be attached with the GM bolt in tie down style hooks. The Molle panel could have been cut out in that space to accommodate it, and still utilize the tie downs. Or have the extension bracket attached to the panel while still using the GM tie downs. Or even the DZ style aftermarket tie downs (which are way nicer than the GM tie downs). If it were that style, you'd have hit a Home Run and have a sale by me, and others immediately. Spoken to many other 19-21 Sierra owners, and most of us are not completely happy with the options out there. None meet all of the needs of the users. I really do like that it's modular, as I would only use the rear sections of bed panels. Not a fan of the full style panels. I'd also offer optional spacers to extend the panel further away from the panel if someone wanted to store soft goods between the panel & the bed, and give more hand space behind the panel to attach accessory mounts, like Quick Fists or Rotopax anchors without removing and reinstalling the panel. How about a webbed style mount the full size of the molle panel, with hinges at the bottom so the panel folds down for ease of changing and attaching accessory mounts when anyone one wants, with ease. Panel could fold back vertical and lock into place via thumb screws. Have one on the rear door of my FJ Cruiser from Springtail Solutions.

Sorry we missed the earlier - greatly appreciate the feedback. We explored most of what you suggested during the concerting and design process but two main things contributed to where we ended up. One challenge is using the fewest number of parts to accommodate the greatest number of trucks. Because of the tie down spacing on short vs standard beds, we couldn’t integrate brackets into the panels themselves like we normally would. We also could pass through the panel like we did on the earlier GM kits. Part of what drove is is also feedback from those owners, since we released those kits earlier. The other major driver is cost. If you’re comparing our solution to those that are current infringing on our patent (that’s another conversation), you’ll probably find that ours are more cost effective without sacrificing materials, quality and design. The reason for that is the care that we take during design to engineer efficient solutions from an inventory management standpoint. Anyway, I’d really be interested in chatting more in depth sometime if you’re up for it. I’d like to make sure I fully understand your feedback and see if maybe there’s an opportunity for us to use it and develop a different product that meets your needs better. - Matt ([e-mail])
