Hi Hatsumi-san. You are reading this now. Thank you for your time & interest. We will meet in Amsterdam, but I will also come to Japan. Time is an illusion. It is just a digit.

Looking at this is like fiction. Feel like it is a Jack Reacher novel and just fiction. Think JR is actually better.

jeez, Bujinkan really looks like a cult sometimes, talking about UFOs and messages from space and whatnot.

It was a metaphor, and a bit of a joke. Not meant to be taken literally. This man tends to make silly, pop culture references, to connect to his students. Or, perhaps, just to be silly. That said, I can see where it often could be hard to separate jovial nonsense from believed nonsense, between translation, and the fact that there are plenty of Bujinkan crackpots. Don't get me wrong. There are so many frauds that many (maybe most) martial arts look like complete bullshit from an outside perspective, including Bujinkan Taijutsu. I've met bad teachers and good, so my experience tells me that it's not the system that is bullshit, but some of the people claiming to teach it. Even Karate has good stuff, if not taught for getting trophies and breaking boards.

And against someone whos done 2 weeks of boxing training? Useless. Anyone that actually knows how to fight knows how to keep range.
@gordonlekfors27082 жыл бұрын
exactly. no one with a minimum of actual fighting skills would be tripped up by this
