Why should he become an advocate for something he does not support? One must be allowed to have their opinions and not be crucified for this. Having said that, I don't believe that people's rights should be limited because of what they choose to do/be (unless it's breaking the law of course😏). I do believe in mutual respect and appreciation for all people irregardless of who or what you are and that is something he should really teach.

Buju Banton seems to be sorry, too, which I guess is part of the message of redemption, the message of being buried alive but still breathing. Except for Jesus, every one of my heroes is flawed. Yet each one has done at least one great thing. Their imperfect stories give me hope that one day perhaps I'll do something great in spite of my own sins and flaws. In the meantime I'll repent when I'm led to do so, I'll forgive as well, and I'll pray that there is a place in the hearts of people I've hurt for their forgiveness. Years ago, I saw Buju performing live. He had a broken leg - I think from a car accident, and was casted up in a wheel chair and he STILL performed like nothing was the matter. Exhilarating is an understatement! That day N.Y.& the world also saw & was introduced to Garnett Silk. Buju was born to create a Shift in the Paradigm of our consciousness, where we are catapulted as the true catalyst of change, to be brought closer to the mighty man who brings eternal peace, God. To hear Buju is to know Mark Myrie, to know Mr. Myrie is to understand his plight & fight as the man who will never be broken by the struggles, yet he redefines & is Redeemed through this cycle of earth & the many passages leading to the passageway of divine greatness, he's a musical Enoch, Moses, & Abraham wrapped in another shell of flesh!

This man's positive evolution reminds me of Malcolm X. In this video he sings the world is changing but everything about it, from the ladies with their beautiful dresses, the music and the scenery take me back many years to some of the finest days of my life living in the countryside of Jamaica surrounded by the beauty of nature and total Jamaican Sweetness.
