Memories! I attended Khumalo Primary School, then Milton High. It was a great time, and the city was beautiful. Centenary Park was down the road and the playground had an armoured car you could climb in. There was Ascot shopping centre with its huge library. There was Borrow Street swimming pool. And the shops! Meikles, Haddon & Sly, Edgars... Life was good. The City of Kings indeed!

This video was taken the year l was born. Bulawayo was so beautiful. I went to Khumalo then Townsend and we used to walk into town after spending school bus money. The good old days 😂

Thank you for the great memories. This is the year I reluctantly left BYO for overseas😅😅 Totally different now, not the same anymore which is very sad. The young generations we have lost to preventable deaths at home and overseas due to unemployment.

I was there with my wife in December 2019. Very rundown shops and businesses, police road blocks every few miles on national highways, low wages and high prices. Zanu PF have stolen every election since 2000. Most people who could left for RSA and elsewhere during the 00s inflation.
