Here we'll discuss the basics of a BJT which is one of the commonly used device in an amplifier circuit. A small description about the difference between a diode, thyristor and transistor is also given.
The amplifier circuits using common base and common emitter configuration is also discussed.
Please Note:
In cut off region the transistor is fully off (open switch) and in saturation region the transistor is fully on (closed switch)
