Kami sudah empat tahun tidak bertemu keluarga dan mereka berada di Pulau Lombok untuk liburan Leberan Idul Fitri. Kami bersenang-senang bersama di pantai setempat. Dan seperti biasa saya satu-satunya orang asing di daerah tersebut. Hari yang menyenangkan, termasuk naik perahu yang mengasyikkan.
We haven't seen our family in four years, and they are on Lombok Island to celebrate the holiday. We have so much fun together at the local beach. And as usual I am the only foreigner in the area. Great day, including an exciting boat ride.

Looks like a really fun day! And very beautiful there. How does it feel to always be the only foreigner in the local areas? Maybe you are used to it now because you have lived in the village with the locals for many years?

It was a lot of fun! I used to feel really uncomfortable because I am stared at, people want to take photos with me, etc. But yes, I am more used to it now. I do stand out in the crowd though! haha 😅

I'm so sorry mrs.Laila,how about if you teach English course for the local people as your activities,and share your english capability,because you are a native speaker,beside you can get some money you can spend your time,as we know Lombok is a tourism destination,ofcourse needs English.Once more it just a suggestion,thanks

I was teaching English in another village when I met my husband. It was so much fun. I really enjoyed it. Many people ask me to teach here in this village. But I must go back to my own country soon. Maybe next time when I come back. 😊
