Nice video, interesting you hear your views on this. I only found out about the Scuba a few weeks back - looking for a fun dive watch as without one in my collection - and seriously looking at the 38mm in the two tone Gold and Steel model..... Seems to be an awful lot of value for a "serious" watch brand with integrated bracelet/rubber. The *only* thing holding me back currently is that I like a Nato/Perlon and can't find anywhere with an adaptor for these - any ideas on a way round this?

Thanks Austin! Glad you enjoyed the video. I've recently picked up another of these but haven't shot it yet. The Saint edition which is also the watch from "Heat" that Al Pacino wore. I know of no way to adapt a strap to these, there are no adapters I'm aware of (like the Gshock adapters that is). I do know you can get rubber strap and leather straps for them but they are cut out at lug to fit in. While a perlon would be nice, I'm not sure I would pair a Nato on this model. This watch feels "fancy" to me. I call it my Miami/Vegas/Yacht watch LOL. There is also a 40 and 41mm variant. Check out this one on rubber if you want a different look to the bracelet. Be careful out there as there are knockoffs floating around. Hit me up if you'd like to hunt one together. @@HobbyOfHours thanks D for the response, still in the "searching" stage at the moment, but very attracted to the two-tone. I am one of those awkward people who just don't get on with rubber straps unfortunately. I think I will need to see one "in hand" and at least lay it on a premium NATO to get an idea on it. If I do go down that route, would probably look to get something machined up to help with Perlon/NATO fitting :)

The design of this watches are so futuristic. I remember seeing them in movie Heat. Bracelet must be custom made for this watches. They are so beautiful and futuristic.

That's well put. I've got a few more videos in the tank on this model and the Heat watch which was also in The Saint w/Val Kilmer. You can pick them up out of Japan for around the 1k mark these days. Be careful for fakes tho as they are out there too. There is a stamped model number on bracelet link #1 for the real deal. Also, the lume pip needs to be full in the triangle, the bezel 4 has to have lengthy and even font distribution on the tips and generally the bezel font should be thick. Placement of the 200M on the dial should be full and prominent and lastly, the 12 and 6 are raised on the dail. A worthy addition to your collection. Happy hunting! How do you size the bracelet on this watch? Push pins?

Yes indeed. But not the split pin pressure fit type. They are rather robust, thick pins. You have to drive them out with a small watch hammer and pin tool. The kind you'd get in one of those Amazon watch kits. Not a big deal at all. It has to be hammered out tho, the convenient hand tool types will not work (I have them all, trust me). Hammer, pin and standard block are required. Best, D
