Bulgaria. Huge contrasts in Sunny Beach during December.

Finishing in a busy bar for coffee having walked some areas bereft of people. Its like an apocalypse movie, sort of surreal at times, am I the only human here? Hard to believe that Sunny Beach in Bulgaria is a fantastic summer holiday destination when walking the resort in winter. We still find interesting things to film and people to meet fir a chat, there is an ex pat community here. We love living here and filming year round, a great place to spend your retirement.

Very changeable, could have some snow Sunday, winter comes and goes but that lets us walk out and enjoy life. It was a sight with the mirror calm sea.

😊 hi Jimmy I holiday there once at night there were sound's like gunfire 😲 it was absolutely packed with cosmopolitan people walking down the promenade a fantastic place to holiday I would recommend it but take your 👂 plugs when the bombs go off lol 😳 all the best John 😊

They love fireworks here, even In our village att night for any reason. In the resort we often hear them but don't see where they are. In places it is noisy to stay but a little away from promenade is quiet.

Know the name it's in the area opposite Nobel and imperial resort but cannot picture it. We filmed that southern area a few times through the season D it's had major upgrades with roads and lighting this last year.

We have cycled it a few times, easy coming down. Not walked it since moving in, we tend to go the opposite way up the mountain for a hike.

Parking is difficult in high season in the resort, our complex is full mostly, was thinking of electric scooter for next summer

The site is fenced off and cleared. There is a pile driver there ready to do the footings .

Funny it's something we don't eat now. We did film Hawaii breakfast which is really good but loved sitting watching the sea. Love jack's for people watching could sit there for hours..
