People should still remember that people dont only purge,we should talk more about excessive exercise, laxatives and fasting, bulimia is when someone binge eat and the try to find dome sort of compesation for the food that they just ate

the type I have is purging then starving until I give in and for the people saying "well just don't eat normally" it's a literal mental disorder it's an addiction to food we fight and fight the urge to eat until.we give in then we eat an unhealthy amount and then start again starving until we give in it's a cycle that is scary we can't stop

I remember binging and then putting my food in the trash but then digging it out and so after I finished it I felt sooooooo horrible so I made myself throw up over and over until nothing was left. 😢

are there other types of bulimia? aside from nervosa? because I feel like purging might be some sort of compensation for the binge eating & I’m not sure all compensations materialize as purging

The video said that people with bulimia binge eat and then purge but I starve myself and then purge! Like I skip lunch and dinner and I eat a small breakfast everyday and I eat nothing else but I also induce vomiting after I eat tiny portions so I don’t know what’s wrong with me because everyone describes bulimia as binge eating than vomiting but I don’t binge eat at all???? Does anyone know what might be wrong with me?

I completely understand you! I don’t feel like I fit in the bulimia group since I don’t really binge.

What youre describing sounds like binge-burge anorexia and is, as the name suggests, a subtype of anorexia, not bulimia.

Don't ask questions like that. Please don't consider vomiting It's a coping mechanism for a real feeling underneath. Please get help before you get hurt too much.
