Bulk Charring... Charring An Entire T- Shirt In A Modified Popcorn Tin

Things I wanted to explore in this Bulk Charring experiment...
1) Will the popcorn tin hold up to this much intense heat?
2) Will the material char thoroughly in such a large tin?
3) Will a large hole in the lid work to easily release gases?
4) Can I bend the lid's hole flap back down for the tin's cooling?
5) I expect lots of deposits; how will they affect the char cloth?
6) Does the char cloth perform well?
*** It'll take days and weeks for me to put together and recognize everything that I've learned from this experiment. But what I've already learned today is... When bulk charring like this... Don't think that just because the outside of the tin is cool to the touch, that the char cloth core within has also cooled. LOL! Please SUBSCRIBE at the end of the video. Thanks!
