Bulk Hair - How to bleach or dye

How can you bleach, dye or in general process bulk hair without having to keep the hair in the elastics or without taking it apart and risking to ruin the bundle... well I have the answer. I've been doing this for months but never cared to make a video until now.

What would be wrong with dying the wig after it's been ventilated? Would that be a no-no?

+bluevinylfonts This is a good point, you have practically no room for error bleaching a ready wig. Also if the hair ends up not being virgin you realize you will end up with a blotchy wig. Pre-dyeing the hair ensures you got the consistency right, the colour right, you can have like 2~3 different shades of the colour you want so you can blend it and it looks natural and if you overbleach the hair you will obviously not make the wig with that hair. Now if you bleached wrongly, or non virgin hair or overbleach hair that is already a wig you won't only throw away the hair but also the job done for the wig. ~~~~~~~~~~ Of course good hair, professional colorists etc shouldn't have a problem doing the job correctly. But there is another th8ing, if you want to only dye the hair to a level 4 or 6 for example then the dye is too dark and it will stain the lace, so you have to make sure it won't touch the lace. It is not permanent, it should fade away with washes but you are only importing more trouble to you and your wig won't be wearable until the lace goes back to the skin tone colour it had

That is because dyes, peroxide and bleach also interact with the keratin, not just melanin, so the more you process the hair the more you patronize the health of the strand. To totally remove melanin you need to leave the bleach too long in order ot get deep inside the strand and lighten the melanin in there. So you damage the hair even more. To get a better result you could use olaplex system, it will help you keep the hair healthier but there is no way you can lighten hair without damaging it at all.

No in this specific test I cared to see if it lightens and it did and the damage was not that much since I only left it for like 30~35 minutes which is safe. I used 20 vol also, so that hair could lighten more if you use olaplex and higher volume developer. I also do not own any olaplex in my hands, so I cannot know about it.
