I'm fully on board with your mantra to follow price action, not the negative sentiments you hear. I'm seeing SPY going up to the 512 range and pulling back below 510, maybe even to 500, then running up again next week and in June to 520 and above 535 within 4 months. That said, I'm trading for these upsides once confirmation occurs, probably a few weeks or a month away.

Time is less of a factor if you try buying at critical support and selling at critical resistance, post P/A confirmation, of course.

The only reason things have been slowing down was the company stock buyback window being mostly closed and all the CTAs had been maxed out long for months, and have been in the process of deleveraging those positions to reset themselves. The government (the treasury secretary) and the fed are basically signaling to the market that they know the economy is teetering on the abyss, and they are basically tossing it life savers (life savers stuffed to the gills with cocaine), and they are telling it to ignore any fires around you, the party is still going, the music has not stopped, do that blow and keep gettin' your (f..kin) money. Or you know, something to that extent 🤷🏻‍♂️ Just watch the 10 year bond yield. If that thing keeps dropping and the market starts upwards again, things will start getting manic, fomo-ly manic

Those who felt Cory’s bear trap was wrong probably got crushed. Now it has broken out of down trend trendline with great impulse I’m gonna take some profit off. If Apple breaks 187.50 today the bottom is in for the market. That would bring apple back above its start of year price. Considering its weight in the sp500 that will push us right up to the next resistance if we get any positive action on any other stocks in sp500. I dont think Apple will start running off, but it will almost certainly go up today. That buyback is a big enough war chest that the short sellers will almost certainly go play another stock. At that point the only mag 7 stock that will be deep in a hole is Tesla and it will simply remain there unless Musk pulls a 180 on his PR issues and the EVs actually start selling well again. Summer ATH for sp500 is quite possible. I could see us running up a bit more, having a pull back and then a big run up in Q4 if we stick a soft landing. On the other hand if the economy breaks something big and tanks in Q2 or Q3 I could see us running back down for a few months while that gets sorted out. Next year though we could be in for some real trouble unless they figure out how to deal with the national debt interest. We are on track to be paying 2 trillion a year in interest in the not too distant future. That has to be dealt with.

Way too bearish for no damn reason? Lots of reasons. Short term bull long term bear at this point. Buy backs saved Aapl "better than feared" earnings. Nothing impressive. Is it 6 or 7 quarters overall lower? Ill trade to the upside until May 17th if levels get taken out to the upside. Btw earnings has been decent. Low bar. Easy to beat.
