Herbert hi, I have a question regarding human labor vs. robot labor. Humans take their income and put it back into the economy. Robots will not. All earnings will go to owners/shareholders. This might create a very different distribution of wealth. Are these factors being taken into account when calculating future models? Is future GDP going to be the same as at present? Could you bring this issue up with your guests?

Lee Iacocca is the only one I knew, only because Chrysler's bail out was big news. That was back when Car and Driver was only available in a magazine. I'm insane, but I probably watch 3 to 5 hours of Tesla per day, finding and verifying new news, just barely keeping up, and I'm not deep diving into battery production. I'm insane because even though I sold all my Tesla stock after Elon f bombed the world, I still keep doing it. It is just so damn interesting to watch, and the content creators are awesome. TH Huxley, a contemporary of Charles Darwin and a brilliant scientist, was known as "Darwin's Bulldog". Darwin was a bit of a recluse, and the controversy that surrounded publication of "On The Origin of Species" in November 1859 resulted Darwin receding even more into the background. Huxley was amongst a few who openly defended Darwin. At the "Great Debate" held in Oxford in 1860, Bishop Samuel Wilberforce (chairing the meeting, and a vociferous promoter of Divine Creation) asked Huxley a few questions. Early on, Huxley said "I have come here to defend science. Until now I have not heard any valid argument that challenges it". Wilberforce persisted, inquiring of Huxley "Is your ape ancestor on your mother's side, or your father's?" Huxley is claimed to have retorted: 'If then the question is put to me whether I would rather have a miserable ape for a grandfather or a man highly endowed by nature and possessed of great means of influence and yet employs these faculties and that influence for the purpose of introducing ridicule into a grave scientific discussion, I unhesitatingly affirm my preference for the ape.' ... Private platforms have no obligation to harm their own business by tolerating users that spread toxicity. Again, you're not some victim, it's literally the free market in action.
@chrisf16004 ай бұрын
It's nothing like a free market. As a consumer, if I don't like BMWs then I simply buy a Merc instead. I don't burn down the BMW dealership and/or start a Twitter campaign demanding that all BMW owners be fired and harrassed in the street. Why not simply ignore "toxic" messages ? Perhaps I, as a highly intelligent and rational adult, wish to view those ideas that you deem to be toxic. Why shouldn't I be allowed to do that ?
