It's called a boot strap. Some guys like them because they're easier and quicker to use, but 70% of bull riders out there use a simple lace of leather to tie their boots on, commonly known as a boot tie.

Well When The Bull Bucks Keep Ur Chest Up and Squeeze ur Knees around it and when it turns Reach and Pull ur Body into the turn and when it Bucks pull up on ur rope and Pull ur self down toward the bull and try and get into a Position when you aren't to far off either side thats falling in to the spin or getting on the out side and getting bucked off but Just keep your feet out in front , squeeze ur knees hold on with ur spurs pull up on ur rope, hope this helps any of you guys learning to ride

i was told to keep your eyes on the bulls neck or shoulders, helps with the rhythm of the bucks and everything falls into place after that. If you look anywhere else you will get thrown that way...

Just so the Badger knows, contractors care more about the bulls safety way more than yours they treat these animals like they were their babies because they spend thousands of dollars on keeping these bulls in the best conditions to perform and win.

i cant ride with a helmet. its hard for me to see the bull good i feel. It really messes me up. most places dont mind you not having one if your an older guy. but someone young like this its good he is getting used to using all the safety gear he can. great video

Yes it does. if your hand slips out of your glove at 7 sec. and you could have won the bullriding, was it worth not taping it? Dont tape your glove and it will cost you big one day! I don't see any at all. SHARK's videos from 300+ feet away are not conclusive at all. We don't abuse the animals at all, in any way. And if you did this then you should know how things work, so you probably had a hamster ranch and rode in your Prius, because it definitely wasn't a cow/calf or beef operation. And I have not seen this video, can I have a link please? I guarantee you they were not shot, SHARK likes to assume. If a horse has a hang hoof SHARK will assume they got shot.

Yes, support well needed,you make me laugh to. So can you name one of the big boys that don't use tape or leather. Leather straps tying you'r glove on ain't for support. Most of the guy's I know tape their wrist for support under their glove then tape their glove on to. But hey, whatever works for you. I wouldn't recommend taking a full wrap for your first ride. I would just take a bubble or a lay over just for his first time. And always have your chest out and chin down I you don't want to kiss that bull

I do know that rodeo is NOT wrong though, it's a way of life. The good lord works on our hearts and souls not our minds. They get treated the exact same, as part of our family, how do you think the ranch horses became ridable? Look at saddle bronc and bareback. Most of the cowboys are the ranchers.

bulls are not abused in rodeos. now, there are some things i agree and disagree at a rodeo. the bulls are treated with extreme care both inside and outside the rodeo. i hate the shark videos because much of the things they talk about, only happen at a few rodeos. they never talk about the majority.

It's not conclusive, you can't tell what anything is because it is zoomed in 30x, you can't see anything. If you did all this then why are you against rodeo? Do you not know that animals and humans have different genes and are built differently? You are completely backwards. You would consider yourself an "animal abuser" would you not?
