Boy, you can certainly hear what a huge difference Dolby Sound made to motion pictures. All that crackle and hiss was eliminated when Dolby was was used.

There are so many films and records out there that should be re-done to edit out the surface noise. I have a lot of old 78's that hold great music but are flawed by scratching sound and background hum.

I trust you realize that that is Tom Kennedy the supporting actor (1885-1965), not the Tom Kennedy who later hosted TV game shows. A friend of mine sitting here insists that they're the same man. THE Tom Kennedy, the big tough guy, was a great one in many films and often without due recognition.
