It's actually not that hard. Someone needed to buy ac, legion on deso and jakiro needed aghs. Just either catch axe or bait axe in calling and then during call use jakiro ult and to stop him from running via duel or use Chrono to stop other dire heroes to interrupt the other heroes from moving axe out of macropyre. to add more damage jak needs kaya or eblade. Bloodthorne for the active. A Shiva or dagon wouldn't hurt as well

I don't get it. Strength is the natural counter stat to tank all damage from Intelligence Heroes. So Axe's stats counters magical damage. But now he has up to 90% attack reduction from Counter Helix, and 60 Bonus Armor or 360% more Effective HP or 75% innate physical reduction from Culling Blade Armor buff. If that's so then how are you supposed to counter Axe if pushing or kiting is not an option? I read wiki and his hard counter is Doom. Like, of course a hero designed to shut down a single snowballing enemy without any other purpose is the hard counter to Axe. Other than OD and Pugna or Terrorblade or Slark, I don't see how Axe is going to be killed with the rest of the roster.

Budok's team got hard counter'd by Axe, end of story. Otherwise, Drow, Lina w/ silver edge, or any range carry can deal with Axe easily.

The doom counter is the infernal blade % dmg that hurts extra on strength heroes. Same goes for timber.
