lol pro variety isn't really caused by balancing, even professionals like ls have said it, the lack of variety in LOL is due to coaches being unwilling to take any risks with unconventional or different comps so when one team finds success with something everyone else just falls in line behind them even if it would be objectively better to learn more pocket picks and variety.

That's because of her unique kit and insane survivability to dives, she is highly sought after in Pro-play if she gets any slight buff. Just like how Vi works. The utility is so strong in a 5v5 game that any buff will shoot the use in Pro-play.

Adc is so much fun, you can have teamfight participation time of 3 seconds. Then there is some tank that dashes onto you oneshots you and you can watch and don't have to do anything in the whole teamfight. You don't matter cuz you don't do damage anyways.

I hate that Riot "balances" for pro play at the cost of the other 99% of players. Because you know its not even based on whats broken and whats not, but rather who they want to see being played - what helps them sell more skins, what teams they want to see gain an advantage for spectacle's sake. That's why, no matter what changes, its usually the same tier lists every time. Thats why cool new champs start out broken but are gradually nerfed to oblivion. Its why champs with low win rates get a buff one patch and ten nerfs in the next three.

Pro Play should be handled like ARAM. While it is nice seeing what pros can do with the same champs as you it isnt fair to normal players to have their favourite champs stuck in pro jail for eternity. One of my friends loves Corki ADC but he can never play him cause Corki gets gutted every other patch.

Game should not be balanced around people who suck at video games. Riot is trash as balancing but that doesn’t mean that a character should be “pick or lose” in pro play just so that character can be usable in quick play

Take Zed away from S tier hes just A tier (talking about 400lp masters +) laning phase is still weak even with Q buffs. Generaly AD assassins are weak on lanes. Zed is now suffering from same problem as Kassadin (u start early game weak asf trying to scale and at the end you dont outscale them anyways)

I do not like that riot balances for pro when it effects solo queue. Pros make such a painfully...painfully impossibly small number in the player base. It should be the OTHER way around. Pro play should be effected by how solo queue is. Pros obviously know the best and most effective ways to play the champs... but they're pro. They are the absolute gold standard of perfection when it comes to the game. They play at a completely different reality than everyone else. If you compared the overall numbers of the pro players vs the numbers of solo queue, changing an entire meta based on a number that is literally less than 0.03% of the overall player base, it makes no sense.

they've recently made so many of these changes/nerfs due to solo queue and pro play combined coz during the early summer split when adc patch dropped pros slowly discovered that adcs in midlane are broken and can lane easily against control mages due to rune changes and whatnot, so solo q players started playing adcs in midlane and started dominating and that's how the rabbithole we're in currently started

It hurts to see that most of the ADC are going to be performing worse than most of the AP picks once again. Kind of reminds me of lasts seasons when we saw a lot of mages botside cause they just were better than adcs in a lot of scenarios. Pro centric changes are, imo not the way to go cause Adc's already one of the least fun role to play in solo queue and going this road will just lead to the role being as it was few months back and this was not a good state either.

I never see a world where adc is good and they don't bleed into other roles. Unless they add in a role lock system adc will always be lack luster. And it's debatable if role locking would be healthy for the game, but for me I think I'm at the point where it would likely lead to a more balanced game. But knowing riots balance team maybe not so much

In answer to your question: no, I don't appreciate having the game balanced around pro play. Many if not most of the most interesting champions are made unplayable for 99.99% of players because they're balanced around what the top 0.01% can do with them.

@ley2348 cleaver, spear of shojin/stridebreaker/liandries. Either way you will need cleaver 1st and liandries 3rd. The minions proc all of these items except stride, but that's more for yorick than the minions

I can't help but feel changes are always offering an indirect buff to Yasuo and Yone. Take this patch for example, with Shieldbow and FF buffs. They are never NOT viable champions and always borderline OP in solo queue. Guess profit takes all.

​​​@@ADRIAN-tv4wfYes that's true I mean it's really good and consistent, but it could work in some matchups with a lot of shuishies plus yes lich bane is good and gives Ms which ss can cover for but the damage comes after you get rabadons and meji aka more ap but most high elo games are like really short which gives you REALLY GOOD DAMGE on only 2 items which as I said combined with the true damage from sudden impact and the 45 pen is just insane. I guess we will see I am going to try it share it with someone if I can and it may work who knows.😅😅 Edit: by the way my past games I started playing Lich bane into ss even without the buff and it feels really good and I think it's more consistent than meji cuz you may lose stacks during the game an plus ss has the 35% Ms burst which I love.

I've always said they should ONLY patch for pro play Because the average player can always get better, but the pros are closer to the theoretical maximum limit of what they can accomplish. So if a champion is broken in lowy low you can just learn how to beat it, but if it's broken in high elo there might literally be nothing you can do And if you're just playing the game for fun, balance shouldn't matter. And if you say it's unfun that people beat you, then this isn't the game for you, because you will get beaten

L take. Top for example, Nasus Garen Mundo Aatrox NEED to be nerfed for every elo, hard, and asap! You can’t learn to beat an immortal champ reliably, you can’t learn to beat a hyper dmg bruiser with 4 (!) Knock-Ups, giga heal and power spikes 24/7 after level 4 reliably. And no, there is no reliable outplay to 1,6k spin to win + phase rush on a somehow tanky garen. They should split patches for pro play and everyone else since it’s not comparable anyway
