I was just strolling through a liquor store last month with museum prices on many, many things, but they had the 12-year Bulleit Rye for 45 bucks so I snatched that right up! Bulleit's "standard" rye was my gateway rye that I still enjoy, and since I haven't seen an age-stated rye like this I didn't hesitate, and I'm glad I didn't!

Yeah I really liked it. To me I do feel like it’s a throwback Rye. I can’t wait to see to where it falls in my list at the end of the year. Great review guys as always.

Just got one today at a Total Wine in FL and saw another one at a different liquor store same day. I'm from Indiana and have now seen it anywhere else.

Never had this but will look for it. My top Rye is the 12 year single barrel cask strength from Short Barrel. Insane

Wish we could get it 100 proof at least but I'm sure it's delicious. I used to love Bulleit Rye but it tastes watery to me anymore. I'll bet the 12 year is great though.

I bought one of the original ones new back in 2019 at my local Binnys, I still have it. I also have a new version and opened it, it tastes way young for a 12yr

Yeah, I like it alright, but it doesn't taste any older than some 5-8 yr old ryes I compare it to.

If the claim of 8,000 cases is accurate I am floored because my backwoods local store that gets almost nothing got 6 cases of this.

I am a big Bulleit Rye fan but I am not buying that they have any meaningful input into MGP's 95/5 distilling process. In fact, I believe that the product is no different than any other MGP 95/5 sold to other bottlers like Dickel. Of course, Dickel then alters the final product through its filtering process.
