This song and 10 Years Today by BFMV really capture the emotion when someone close to us takes their own life. Another song about this type of loss is Avenged Sevenfold's So Far Away. Avenged sevenfold Dear God was a good one that I tend to connect with, having lost my grandmother and then my only grandfather in two years it was tough. But he was at the point where he lived his live vs the addiction life. We lost so many of em. 😢 But also BFMVs song oh what’s the title…where Matt’s talking about leaving and the memories “Bittersweet Memories” that one reminds me of the addiction lifestyle and leaving that codependent relationship that you know will just bring you round again. There used to not be songs close to that end of the cycle that I could really connect with aside from these til Geazy and Blackbear I think it was did that song “I hate the Way you” …if you know of the addiction life,that song will hit home also.
