I've been following these guys since the album "Scream, Aim, Fire." I know everyone wants the sound that they produced from their first two albums. The problem with that is if they continuously produce the same sound, you guys will roast them for making every song sound the same. I personally hated the album, "Temper, Temper." However, I respected them for making that album because it was different and wasn't the same old, same old. These guys are artists and write about what is stewing them now versus what was stewing them back in 2005 when "The poison" was released. Think about it, that was 12 years ago. Their problems now are so much different than they used to be. My favorite band is The Devil Wears Prada and so many people roasted their latest album, but I loved the new album because I saw them evolve from pointless screaming and edgy lyrics into art. That is why I loved the album "V" because it was fucking art. Music is art and the artist isn't expecting everyone to like every song they produce.

Being a fan of Bring Me The Horizon, who had so fundamentally changed their sound for Amo, watching people just complain everywhere, "deathcore is dead, so BMTH is dead too" drove me nuts. Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of Amo myself (half the album has since started to appeal to me over time), but look at their new album and how they've evolved since. Artists need to experiment to break new grounds, or stay stale. Either way, people still bitch about everything and it's super annoying.

Bullet For My Valentine... All I got to say.. They're amazing!!!! They were supposed to perform at rock on the range and I was so excited for there performance, we they wasn't able to perform because there was lightning near us, so the workers had to clear us out when another band Black Veil Brides was getting ready to play there last song for the day called In The End. After bvb was done bfmv was next, they didn't get to play because we had to get out of the stadium. I was really really mad. At the time bvb was playing me and my uncle and his friend went to go meet Asking Alexandria and New Year's Day, so we didn't get to meet them either. Asking is one of the band's I really wanted to see. I met Ash from New year's not to long before Rock On The Range, by it would have been nice to meet all of the band

I'm a huge bfmv fan, and I think this song is cool! I know its not 100% their style, its brand new, but it sounds good and its fun to listen to different styles sometimes, it kinda reminds me a music made in the past (kinda early 2000's?) maybe now sounds weird, but if you adapt then it will be great, actually its pretty catchy to me! in the 1:38 you realize this is bfmv! they put their "trademark" in this. I love this fucking album, to all the people bagging it you aren't true BFMV fans, alot of bands evolve and change the direction they go in it doesn't mean they have forgotten the old stuff. As Matt Tuck said he has been going through some personal stuff and he wanted to do this album to get some things of his chest. Meh, the song's not amazing and doesn't hold much promise, there's nothing that really catches me and pulls me in, it sounds very generic both musically and lyrically, sounds very mainstream and slightly poppy, it's missing the solos and awesome riffs that I KNOW Bullet can do and they did on Venom, I hope the whole album doesn't sound like this and they have some heavier and more technical songs on the album, love the band but this song doesn't exactly get me hyped for Gravity

They kind of lost their edge after Matt lost his voice, probably the fact that they matured musically only sped up this process and they have fallen victim to something every bad goes through the period of "experimentation might kill us, so let's play it safe". It's as the cycle goes, first album rocks the world upside down, second outdoes the first with a little twist, the third is a mash-up of studio leftovers from the first and second album to keep the fans busy, the fourth album is the notorious "bad" album one way or another, the 5th album is sort of a comeback where they go back to their roots in order to get things back together and then there is album number 6, this can go either of two ways. They either end up making a shitty album full of "playing it safe crap" or they get their fire and passion back. After this it's mostly back to square one.

for everyone hating on this song and Bullet you need to stop. Bands change all the time and who gives a shit if this isn't as heavy as their older stuff, they are still a great band and are still going strong. they shouldn't be having to read through a lot of hate when they are trying to bring out new content to the fans that actually stick by them, I love this song and have been a fan of them for years. I at least respect all the content they bring out even if it is softer or heavier than what they did a few years back

It's not one of my favorite songs. They have made better, but i'm respecting it. Their compositions are much worked than older. There are good even in this song. And it was hard to expect better after this awesome Don't need you!

Intro riffage was quite cool but the lyrics were so painfully generic, bfmv should be so much more but every album since scream aim fire has been overly formulaic and watered down. Their songwriting is so predictable it makes it boring to listen to. Just stating my opinion, not saying I want them write another scream aim fire I just wish this band had more tricks up their creative sleeve. Yawn.

pritch Pritchy I agree with you on that. Personally, I can't help but liking it. But I've been picking up that vibe. Very pattern oriented, but low key, they got kind of lazy on it. The same riff was repeated and held for a solid 8 - 12 measures each time. The lyrics seem like they are out of teens notebook. I'm just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt in their lyrical integrity. Like it could just be generic lyrics, but a blanket statement for something that may be real to them. But thats just me.
