Woo Hoo, hold it right there, another game with score is 5/5 ( RIVE was the first). And Raiden V + Akai Katana + Crimzon Clover with tons of medals to collect and play in YOKO monitor = this masterpiece. Hope Degica game will localize this soon. Those cutscenes are beautiful, remind me of Raiden V cutscene but more dynamic. Thanks mr Ser for reviewing this hidden gem. I can not sleep tonight. :)) I am in HEAVEN now!!! :3

This released on Switch Japan yesterday (2/27/19) and is certainly worth the 2500 yen ($25) and 1gb in storage space. Exhilarating, smooth, engrossing hori shmup!

R-types Dimension is coming to Switch and Steam this year’s winter. The classic has returned and hope they will fix the issues that had in the PS3 version.

I feel the same way about Project Starship X as well. Finally beat the ultimate final boss after putting 50 hours into the steam version alone and dove right back in.

Yeah I plan to order it within the next couple of days at worst, but I'm still paranoid its going to be all gone by then. Regardless of that, I played the demo, and it is freaking outstanding. I've been playing a ton of Raiden V DC on PC lately trying to figure out how the hell I'm going to 1CC it. This demo has had me hooked since I downloaded it right off of the developers site earlier. I can't wait to get the full game. It just seems like a special game. The aiming can feel a bit crazy initially but I think that is just because it offers you so many different ways to utilize its utility and maneuverability. Great revew!

Great review as always. I've been wanting this one since playing the excellent demo, didn't realise it was physical only but it certainly sounds like it's worth the extra. I might ask my friend to bring it home to N.Ireland at Christmas as I'm already waiting on Akai Katana for the 360 arriving (not to mention a huge Steam backlog!). So tempting though...

Sick! I had a lot of Akai Katana Shin vibes with this. The weird perspective of some the backgrounds, the whole 16:9 horizontal bullet hell thing, the boss bar at the right side of the screen. I hope some publisher picks it up to release on Steam like Playism or Degica. I'm going to check the trial in the meantime.

Right now it's only available physically. I've reached out a few times on the topic of Steam, but Project Rolling Gunner says it's still going to be some time. I believe they want Overpower on Switch first, or something to that effect.

As good as this game is, the minimal sprite animations and in parts noticeably sparse backgrounds really knock it down in quality by quite a bit for me personally. The little details in the background were always an integral part to my enjoyment of Cave's shmups in particular.

I am so done with Physicality games!!! I pre-ordered this game as soon as it was announced paying via PayPal. I got a notification that they refunded me all but 5 dollars of my purchase. I missed the email telling me they were going to do this and sent them an email to send me the invoice for the difference. The invoice gives no option to pay by paypal. I emailed them back telling them this. They respond telling me they no longer accept PayPal as a purchase option. WTF!!!! I don't use my debit card online so I guess I'm screwed!! UGHHH I'm so finished with them.
