im by no means an expert, but i have a feeling you should have done more research into what sort of carpet you need... it sounded a lot like you just went *"carpet is carpet!"* im also wonder if you're gonna add an AC socket or two into the van (for things like charging the laptop or powering a mini fridge(or that cooler you showed in a previous video :P )) if you do, big tip. dont run it of the regular car battery. car batteries are great at delivering a lot of current, but the way thats achieved makes them *terrible* at surviving deep discharges. so if you do add AC sockets, there are a few different options you can choose from. two i can think of are. *using a seperate lead acid battery made for deep discharges to power things instead. +you can use it as a backup battery incase the normal one runs out of charge. *have the sockets only turn on when the engine is running. that way things only run on the alternator instead of the battery. this would be the easier one to build.

Carpeting in cars is usually put down with a special glue meant specifically for appulstry. It holding is about the only thing as certain as death, taxes and painful shit.
