Bullfighting is a cruel treatment of animals. The handlers torture the bull before it enters the arena and then it is stabbed repeatedly until it dies. Horses often get badly injured, sometimes gored. I hope you don't support cruel treatment of animals.

@@lindag3330 At no point is she saying anything about supporting bullfighting, just that Gaio's previous occupation has a bearing on the way he thinks. Also don't assume that people are so ignorant that they don't know what bullfighting entais and that they have to be told it is cruel; that's a no brainer. Go educate people on factory farming because that's one of those things where a chunk of the population wouldn't believe such operations are legal.

Many people are ignorant about what happens during bullfighting and other related events where bulls are used (rodeos, running away from bulls etc - all include torture). But of course not necessarily her, so I changed the comment above. Factory farming is of course terrible, but bullfighting is as well.

Bareback riding is a good way to train the horse so it can feel so much more of what you are asking it to do.It's always better to get a horse to do things he wants to do for you rather than forcing them to do it. I like your style!

Thank you Jesse for saving this horse from the horror of the bullfighting world. It's not just the bulls who are tortured. Anyone who enjoys the bullfighting culture is very unconscious in my opinion. I feel sick reading of the 'beauty' of the dance between matador and bull. BS is more like it. You are a great horseman, taking time, letting the horse just be. Stunning, both of you.

@@klaudia711 "Animals rights" because we are about to change the law. So when I mean "rights" I mean it as in "human rights". We want to raise the bar so high that they become equal. Human and animal rights. ( Me, personally, are against zoos, riding, eating meat etc but with some restrictions.)

@@nala3055 Under the current situation there have been noticed that zoo animals actually thrived better and was more relaxed without people visiting the zoos. There are other ways zoo can work but without the people going there and stressing the animals. There are not enough zoo's that actually prevent and preserve the animals and for that they all shall be banned. If the ratio was higher and a lot of changes to have the animals well being as number one most important priority ( NOT the human) then maybe. But sadly, we are far from it.

Congrats on your new horse. He's fantastic. His intelligence and warm, fun and friendly personality shine brightly. He clearly is very connected to you. You can see his love for you. It's beautiful. I've had horses for 50 years and had only one who I had an extraordinary connection with. I sold him when I left for college. The day he left I could see how hurt he was. Our connection was that special.

Wow! He has really come a long way. He also looks very healthy. His coat and body tone are excellent. He does get a bit bunched up in the body when he gets anxious. You are doing an excellent job of taking him along slowly. I love his facial expressions when you tried to give him a treat! What an incredible opportunity for both of you. Gaio is a beautiful intelligent horse, and it's wonderful to watch Jesse taking time with him . I've been waiting for this video out of all of them. I'm in Spain, an oldie now, and as an aside, was upset yesterday when shown a Spanish horse meat fattening farm not 4 miles from where I live. You wouldn't know it was there. Beautiful horses. I love the format of this video. Showing us the training and giving the narrative voice over that you can so clearly hear. There are so few times that I see someone training a horse in the arena or lunging them that I feel totally relaxed. Inotherwords, I feel the horse is not being pushed or intimidated or over-worked with Yesser at the helm. When a horse is at ease my heart is so happy. Yesser is such an incredible horse person. And it warms my heart that Gaio is out of the horror of bull fighting and onto a life of love. I wish that could happen for the tragic bulls. I really loved this video. I love the details of how the training will evolve. Gaio is such a precious creature. I think Gaio's legs are incredible. I feel his legs move like an athletic ballet dancer gazelle! and that he is very talented. I like the music very much. Terrific video.

I'm from spain and I work with horses. I absolutly see this horse and understand every movement he do and why. Spanish training make horses work with to much stress and ansiety, because they know the pain. And work in the right side usually is a problem for every one. Good work with this beauty friend 🙏🏻

I don't believe anyone can deny that Gaio had an extremely hard job being a bullfighting horse he has scarring on his nose from the type of bridle used and scarring on his body from the spurs used ect in the name of sport. 😢 Gaio has PTSD that also can't be denied. Thankfully Gaio has a fantastic new job living with Jesse bless you 🙏 for your unconditional love and understanding ❤️ 💕
