Breeding season is primarily from March to September but once your birds are healthy and able you can breed year round.

Movement.... and plenty of it.... When you carry him out don't expect anything. Just let him do his thing. Eventually he will sing when he is ready.

You can walk him and tame him down.. The more settled he is the more he will sing. If you are trying to train him a particular note you will need to get a teacher, CD or a Flash Drive. Providing that it's a male.....
