The Smallest Parrot you have ever seen - Tiny egg rescue

I found a tiny budgie egg at a pet shop. If I could incubate it, would I be able to raise it? With these big human hands? Its mother had just been sold. This meant the egg would have no chance without me giving it a try.
Last Saturday we had some music technicalities to solve. Sorry if you have been waiting on the video. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did making it :)

The poor male budgie is probably so heartbroken. When they produce eggs together they really look forward to seeing their babies hatch. @@amply_gaming no the egg only starts to develop the embryo when it's incubated. If it's not incubated, nothing happens... So if he hadn't taken the egg, nothing would've happened. That's why I said he chose life! Not everything is a Hollywood drama movie lol.

@@cosolalala no, the longer an egg goes without incubating starting the more the viability goes down. Idk about parakeet eggs but usually with chicken and quail eggs the viability goes down considerably once you reach 7-10 days

@@cosolalala It would just perish long before a few months... A parakeet has a gestation period of about 3 weeks before it hatches. An ostrich has a gestation of slightly over a month. But point is, if the egg is fertile, it needs to be incubated within a few days

I was so down when I saw this video and I decided it sounded interesting. And I was just overwhelmed. I mean I started crying and didn't stop all the way through the video.😭 But they were just tears of wonder and joy that this man would take a tiny little egg given to him and not only hatch it but go through all the pain trouble and I'm sure lost sleep, having to feed this baby parakeet every single day eight times a day. But the end really touched me when he went back and got the dad and they were the most beautiful parakeets and there they were sitting side by side and yes in my mind too, I believe they shared a bond. When I feel things with a similar texture I have a weird tendancy to fling my hands up in the air so when I was a kid and was offered to hold a newborn bird (I believe it was a parakeet if some kind) I ran and started to have a mental breakdown because I was scared I would kill it so god knows you aren't the only one

It's one thing to mess up while handling a tiny object, it's another to try to handle a tiny fragile animal while it moves around in your hand.
