My number one regret to never having got an anime is Psyren. Number 2 would be Hoshin Engi because it got two shit animes instead of a truly great one. But yeah I have no idea why Ippo got so many seasons but Kenichi did not get them. Kenichi also came from a time where they made so many episodes, even something like Kekkaishi got TONS of episodes.

I dont remember Kenichi being able to shoot energy blasts and he's certainly isn't SS rank maybe C by the end of the anime ( he does become like SSS+ by the end of the manga. At the start the only SS characters are the masters at his dojo not including the Elder ( he's SSS at least)
