Same unprofessional comments from post games interviews and ESPN commentators and retired players on podcasts lying and not one peep from the league commissioner!! This is all the lack of professionalism from the league commissioner and players union not protecting the players on the court... always the same bad actors.. constantly moving the goal post for accolades and acknowledging Caitlin Clark's achievements.. rigging the MVP winner before half the season was over changed everything for me... the fix was in with the Olympic team too!! I DID NOT like her denying that she had been fouled by Dejonaise, I think that foul was an extremely big deal and couldn’t be minimized, rules were going to have to be in created because of it, even if that was post season actions, that girl could have easily blinded Clark and that’s not not hyperbole, those nails are dangerous and absurd for professional athletes to be wearing, we can’t say what Dejonaise intended but we damn sure know what might have realistically happened within a few inch difference in touch, Clark could have been ruined for life.

@@Obiahjones Not so much "denying", more a reluctance to discuss it - 'some" players would have mde the whole presser about it, Miss Clark wanted to move on and leave it on the court. @@ObiahjonesWell part of the job as an wnba player is to make a fashion statement. Nails, extended hair, neon shoes, tattoos, and one leatard. The daily attire, and not to forget a chip on your shoulder. If they want to play in an echo chamber so be it. It's simple math, no fans, not much revenue. One more thing, getting sponsors won't be easy, and if you think you could go the pay per view route, go ahead and embarrass yourselves.

Losing or winning, no matter, so long as the game is fair. But the woke WNBA couldn't even guarantee fairly called games. Dijonai eye gouge - NO CALL. Unacceptable. Clark being left off of WUSA - national disgrace. I'M PRAYING for Clark to ditch the WNBA for Europe. Let it sink back down without her.

As far as the bs off the court, NONE of that was coming from CC. It all came from the old guard that want the league to be successful (as long as THEY get the credit), fans in seats (as long as they come to see THEM), and lamenting that THEY deserve big-buck endorsement deals. On the court, it came from opposing coaches that had her face-guarded the entire length of the floor and triple teamed after claiming she "wasn't all that", opposing players who mauled her, and refs who put away their whistles while it happened.

You can be excellent & have a bad attitude & disrespectful way of treating the fans. CC is phenomenal & loves the fans! She speaks with her game!! The rest of the WNBA told us to go away or do what they tell us to do with our money! Not one of them have stopped & thought about being in CC’s shoes & how they would deal with this kind of hostile & violent jealousy. She’s 22 years old & has been so much classier & more respectful than all the arrogant ignorant veterans & Swoops that insist on blaming her for being as good as she is! Instead of whining they could have just played a fair game!

Actually, that's a fair question. I'm someone who has enjoyed the WNBA for a while, but I also like CC. There have been and there are some awesome basketball players who have played and are currently playing in the league. There's no point in me naming them because regardless of what I say, fans of CC could care less. That's where I get to my question. I know for a fact that a lot of these women are amazing. In your opinion, what does CC have that all the women that came before her didn't🤔🤔🤔🤔 I've been racking my brain all season about this. People seem to despise the other women even before CC showed up. I know they're good at basketball, I've seen it. Not all, but a lot of CC fans don't care about them.

I don't think that the league was all about Caitlin. They butchered her rookie season. No commercials, no respect even by multiple so-called experts, visible hatred by many players, no protection by the refs, no respect in award standings, new fans to the league were belittled and blamed for racism. I could go on. The reason why I stopped watching when Caitlin's season was over was that the existing players didn't win me over. It seems the vocal players have a victim mentality, take out their frustrations physically on Caitlin, are entitled, and spew way too much drama.

Did I hear you right? You want our thoughts on how to market the WNBA? Why don’t you ask all these players that was gonna show Caitlin now that your in the WNBA how veteran’s do it. Well the veterans flopped. Now what’s left? Humble pie? How are those veterans doing in the playoffs? Good? Bad? How’s the fan turn out? Do things over n over the same way n expect a different result is….? Insanity. Those veteran woman know all the answers. Right? Wrong. Unfortunately you have to clean house. Them woman are old school. You must do things differently n swoops n company can’t handle change. Swoops’ best year wasn’t as good as Caitlin’s rookie year. What does that tell you? You see, that would be “the patriarchy” oppressing them. They have a self-licking ice cream cone of victimhood and they know how to play it. The NBA league office is as woke as you can get. Same with the NFL, by the way. The WNBA has a “Head of Referee Performance and Development,” a 20-year WNBA referee and lesbian, Sue Blauch. Nobody talks about her. That’s because she’s said nothing in the face of obvious officiating malpractice. Thus, she, as “the league” has supported them through silence. So everything’s A-OK with the officiating, and now the WNBA can get back to missing layups rather than assaulting the goose who laid the golden egg.

I am a Caitlan Clark fan so that apparently makes me a racist. Why would you even want me to support the WNBA. I don't believe that the majority of the WNBA players feel the same way as the minority who are screaming the loudest and seem to be the most unhappy. I know it can be hard to stand up to someone yelling racism but we all need to tone down our language and accusations. Remember it's not just about them, it's about me too.

This drama seems to be similar in many other different environments. Over decades of my career, many women managers told me that the hardest groups for them to manage were depts of 50-100% women due to petty jealousy, envy, backstabbing, dating issues, attractiveness on the "new girl" etc. I saw it myself over my career only in the WNBA it plays out on TV or the internet for the hater-bullies, on the court thugs who physically attacked Clark. Yeah, the pretty new girl gets a lot of attention, this goes back to the days of the Pharaohs but Clark has skills better than everyone else to boot. The TV ratings confirmed it.
