Tomi Adewole - that was a heartbreaking story about his disappearance and death. Looking beyond Bison Dele the basketball player, he seemed like a good man overall with some unfortunate circumstances
@TomiAdewoleAdetom4 жыл бұрын
@@Michael34-14 Indeed. I distinctly recall that single season he had and thinking "man we gotta keep this guy." About 7 years ago I delved into his heartbreaking story. It is a story of familial discord, spawned by the marked difference in talent between brothers, and exacerbated by a foolish mother (their mother always petitioned Bison Dele to give his brother money since he was the more successful brother by far). His brother would steal from him, forging his name to acquire gold coins, checks, etc. One day his brother (I think his name was Kevin) called Bison for help, and Dele invited him on his boat - where he was about to travel the world with his girlfriend. Kevin ended up killing them both in an unplanned fit of envy. A real tragedy.

Jordan is something else. The Jazz had the 2nd best scorer in NBA history & MVP of that year + the all time leader in steals and assists; both hall of famers and made a devastating combo... and it's like he's playing against children. He was just that good.

You're right. That whole stat graphics they posted of triple doubles in the playoffs among active players was just plain wrong. They listed Charles Barkley as having 8 triple doubles. He only had 4 in his career in the playoffs. Pippen was listed as having 7, while he too only had 4 in the playoffs. And Jordan had 2. Perhaps the regular statisticians were on strike, or else they were just plain stoned.
