Jim was obssessed with making contestants stand on the spot !!! pulling them around by the arm.

That was probably the best set of prizes I’ve ever seen on bullseye, in those days that would have been a real jackpot! They definitely got the “BFH” (brutal flying headbutt) from their wives 😂

Whenever jim told you something was a "super" prize you just knew it was a pile of crap

It's funny because the idiots slating the prizes in the comments didn't realise these prizes back in the day cost a lot of money and were state of the art back then. A good wage in the 80's was £150 per week and a video player set you back £300 - £1200.

They are laughing because they think the production company was too stingy to include an XBox, drone or Iphone

These guys were mentally scarred for the rest of their days with the torture of thinking how their lives could have been changed had they not gambled that Pifco slow cooker.

I do actually like that sofa bed! I can see myself reclining on that with my Velcro Rugby indoor market knock-off Reebok's and my marble-washed Silver Saddle jeans! 😉👍🇬🇧

Im offended that people slag off the prizes back then, those guys were earning £250 a week and could have won a 6k car.. people will look back at “who wants to be a millionaire” and say.. but we are already millionaires
@asensibleyoungman29785 ай бұрын
I doubt they were earning that sort of money. This looks to have been recorded in about 1984. In today's money that's £785 a week.

Think about it, two superb prizes, a slow cooker and a recliner sofa.

The last throw on the star prize was very casual, as if he was just having a practice at his local.

They should have made the show so you lost the money for taking the gamble to win the star prize. Imagine loosing £400 back in those days only to realise you had to now chop up and share half a crappy kitchen.
@stevenoliver13263 жыл бұрын
In the later series, from 1991 onwards, they changed the rules, so that you gambled the money as well as the prizes. You got them all back, plus the Star Prize, if you won. If you lost, all you got was your BFH (Bus Fare Home).

Me also I don’t understand they could have a fitted kitchen in a council house so what is your point
@mysticallymerry55232 жыл бұрын
@@pocolol8424 Not all council landlords would allow it and if any repairs are needed the council won't fix or replace it because it wouldn't be their installation.

Not the best attempt at the prize board. And because of that, they shouldn't have gambled.
