one time I was playing this with my class, and I lied while putting in my card, but the pile was really messy so when they called bullshit I flipped over a random card, one I didn't put in, and it ended up being the one I needed, so now whenever we talk about it they call it one of the biggest bullshits they've heard of my friend and I also once passed cards under the table to help each other out never told anyone though 😌

Dex ter Yes, but lets say its your last card and you have to put down a 5 but you only have a 2, and you put it down and someone calls you out, you get the cards. You have to play the number that hits you or lie and say you did and hope no one calls you out.

You have to play the cards in order, so if the person before you was a 7, you have to play an 8. But if you don't have an 8, then you would have to lie about your card.

If you tell the truth then you would basically not putting any cards down on your turn therefore you dont win since the objective is to have 0 cards at the end.

Dex ter They have to play the cards in a sequence going clockwise. So lets say Casey starts it off with an ACE, then bart MUST play a 2 and so on. You can't skip turns as well so you must play a card down. People get forced to play a false card

I had a strategy to get rid of more cards than I said but I had to be slight of hand and playing with the right person or people who were playing close attention. I'd say "Two 4s" but put down four 4s or like four cards of whatever I had in my deck. My best results were when I said I had three of a number put a fake fourth one on the bottom and if some one called BS I would just show the three of whatever because I would get away with cheating but without appearing like I'm cheating. It also helps when the pile is messy because no one can tell what went where but me. I couldn't do that with their version though.

Joe Fish You do realize that you don't get to choose the last card you have to put down right? In order to prevent people from never lying, this game is played so that you go in order from 1-king. Yes you might get lucky if you don't lie, but again, the chances of that are so small.

For those still confused. You all get an equal amount of random cards from the deck. The first round starts with the ace card, second round with number two then three and so forth. And for those unaware of how decks of cards are setup, their is 4 of each card in a deck. So that means four ace's four 2's four 3's and onward. Now let's say its the new round and it's your turn to put down a 5, but you unluckily got none, there's no skipping turns. This means you have to lie and hope no one calls you out, or you can just accept all the cards in the middle pile. It's one of those two in this situation, you can't say "I don't have that card, skip" or else you get all the cards. If anyone wants any more explanation just ask.

Using 1 set of cards (It's harder with 2 sets), how I play this game is that we don't go in order. One person starts and they play down their card, e.g. 1 Queen. Other people around the table can either play down their Queens or lie and play something else and this continues until someone calls bullshit on one of the cards played or everyone stops putting down cards. If someone catches another person bullshitting, the person who caught them goes next and chooses the card. If nobody was caught lying, then the person who put down the last "Queen" would then go again because nobody caught their bluff. This continues until everyone plays their cards (like a tournament) or when you're down to two people. Having more cards isn't necessarily a bad thing because when you finally get a chance to play you have more cards and you can "count cards" to guess when someone else is lying. You can also use your cards to your advantage because people won't know when you're bullshitting or telling the truth.

arnt you playing it wrong? youre not allowed to put down just one card, you have to put 2 or more, why even cheat? the whole idea of the game is that if you have a queen a 7 and a 5 youre sstuck and you HAVE to lie to get your cards down or call bullshit on someone you think is telling the truth, other wise this game is just a game of lie detector. Like so that they can see and fix for the next time they play :D great video though ;)
